Unable to add payment account

Hello, I am hoping that someone has a magic cure for this issue ! I had a very old Etsy shop that was not in use for at least 12 years. I edited that shop to create a new one.  I linked my bank via plaid and then proceeded to add a payment account only to receive the same message over and over again " Hhmm that didnt work".  I thought maybe I should stop sharing bank data and start over, well I stopped sharing via my bank but it still shows connected via Etsy. I do not know how to reverify / reconnect vis plaid and etsy and I cannot for the life of me find out why I continue to receive the error message while trying to add the payment account.  I have contacted Etsy multiple times without response from them... HELP !!!!

Thank you, but that doesn't work. I have followed the steps at least 20 times and i have received the same error message every time. I do appreciate your response though

Make sure you are using a browser and not the app & your browser is up to date.

Yes, I tried that as well ! Multiple browsers, phone, IPad, desktop ! The same error message

Because I would like for It to match my legal business name, Etsy will be a secondary means for me to sell as I sell already outside of Etsy

if you contact etsy about the same thing, more than once, they close the old ticket, and the new one goes to the bottom of the pile,

don't open new ones, reply to the open one that you still need help, and do it every day, if you get no reply.

are you trying to do too much at once, or the wrong order

did you set it up as a personal shop, and now trying to change it to business too, as well as change to etsy payments?

Hi thank you for that information. I have a regular Etsy account of course but also have a shop.  My very old shop was suspended because I am required to add a payment account and that’s what I’m trying to do. I will try again today !
