I created my 28th listing today. The 20 cents was deducted from my account, but the listing isn't in my store nor is there any other evidence of it ever existing. I attempted to contact Etsy regarding this utilizing the "contact Etsy support" button which simply reloads the entire Etsy help center page--it leads to nowhere! I've tried different browsers, same outcome. How can I get ahold of Etsy to fix my listing issue?
so when you click on the thumbnail is the whole listing there still?
No, it takes me to the main Etsy search page and it says "Sorry, this item is unavailable"
@LastStandLeather The thing about not appearing to be being Signed In on the Help Page. I see that as well. And I thought we were automatically Signed In; after all, we're on the Forum
thats what im getting, so it looks like its been deleted some how.
Are you able to hit the "contact Etsy" button? Does it take you off the Etsy Help Center page?
@LastStandLeather I'll try it now (be back).
Now I'm wondering if there's a bug or if parts of Etsy are down? I just switched to different computer and I'm getting the same exact issues. 2 different desktops and a mobile app---all the same problem.
I hit Contact Etsy bottom of Help Page (I didn't Sign In to the Help Page).
I filtered to "For Selling". But the Menu still made me choose For Selling or For Buying. Then Managing Shop and Listings > Manage Listings or I still need help.
I get nothing but a page refresh when I hit the "contact etsy" button. 3 different platforms. Are you saying you get something different?
@LastStandLeather Yes. I didn't click "I still need help" when I went through Contact Etsy and the Menu Options I stated above. But that is what I get when I first click "Contact Etsy" on the Help Page (at the bottom).
What was the listing for?
Have you checked in 'inactive listings' in case it's been auto deactivated by Etsy due to them thinking it's prohibited somehow??? They have bots which scan for problematic keywords.
It was a 3x2 inch leather American Flag patch. Nothing in inactive listings. But I thought about that possibility, but no way to confirm it.
@LastStandLeather did you use the word 'amber' to describe the colour of the leather?
Was it a Confederate flag?
I did have one sentence in the description that said "wear it on your uniform, don it in battle, give as a gift to a friend..." . Now I'm wondering if Etsy removed it due to the "don in battle" statement, which would be ridiculous. But I haven't received a removal notice so...
@LastStandLeather that sounds unlikely. Perhaps it's just a glitch in the matrix. I hope you can get Etsy to figure it out for you.
I can't even contact Etsy so...
@ChillwolfArt Would you mind hitting the "contact Etsy support" button at the bottom of the Etsy Help Center page and see where that takes you?
@LastStandLeather I'll do it again and this time I'll se what happens when I click "I still need help".
Be right back.
I clicked Contact Etsy Support (bottom of page). Strangely my Avatar now shows as Signed In (I didn't do it).
Then I went through the following:
- Selling on Etsy
- Managing Shop & Listings
- Manage Listings
- I still need help (bold font)
- Chat with us (I didn't click further)
@ChillwolfArt Thanks for checking for me. I guess it's a problem with my account then. I'll have to contact Etsy to ask them! lol
@LastStandLeather You're Welcome. Hope you get answers soon.
@Amaradorn As I said, it's an AMERICAN flag, not Confederate.
@LastStandLeather just checking. I'm not entirely sure what it is (me being from the UK) but I know that can be considered somewhat problematic these days.
@Amaradorn I used "brown". Everything was exactly like this Betsy Ross flag listing here https://www.etsy.com/your/shops/LastStandLeather/tools/listings/sort:title,order:ascending/141444786... with exception of it being the modern U.S. flag and I had "..don in battle..." in the American Flag listing (the missing listing).
