Unable to Update Tags

Hi,

For the past two days, I have been unable to save my listings if I try to update the tags or materials.  I get the message, "Hm, we’re having trouble saving your changes. Try again, and if this keeps happening contact Etsy Support."  Does anyone have any insight on why this is happening?  I didn't have any issues earlier this week, but I can't update tags on either the app or web site.  If I delete the tags, the listing can be saved.

I have been unable to save and list new listings since yesterday. I am getting the same message when I try to save as you are. when I attempt to chat with etsy messaging about the issue, I am getting a "Couldn't load message" reply. I am not sure if this issue is on my end? I have done a search in the forums and have not seen any similar issues pop up except for yours. I hope that we can find some answers soon!

@WhalePeakDesigns  @LaMuseAntiques  Hi, The OP in this Thread was having trouble as well, and received the "Contact Support" Message. Now she's OK.
There is the link to another Thread where that OP had the same Message.  The problem stemmed from the new Seller App or the New Listing Form.

Use the "Old" Listing Form, not the "New" one. That system is still working effectively

This..listed stuff today and copied listings changed tags with no issues via the old lister and not the app. Also some glitches are browser dependent.  Try another browser.

Is it possible that your device has an update that needs to be installed. My iPad, MacBook and iPhone had one today and I noticed that things don't work like they should when I haven't updated.

My God - This issue is still present in 2024 and NO ONE has offered a guide on how to hack their way to success?!  Come on people, telling everyone that you solved the issues doesn't help those who are still dealing with the issue.  Can someone offer a step by step process to resolve an old bug?!

Someone stated to use the "old" form.  Please provide details on how to change to the "old" form.  Thank you

When creating (or editing) a listing, you will see 1 of 2 things in a blue banner at top of page (use a browser, not the app!) ... this how you switch between NEW & OLD listing page versions.

1. You’re using the old listing form. Try out the new, streamlined experience. (select "Switch to new version", on right side of page).
2. Welcome to your new, streamlined listing experience. What’s new  (select"Switch to old version", found to the right).

Try organizing yor lists with OLD VERSION.
