New Picture Format sizes ?

Hello Etsy team

Regarding the article on the Etsy dashboard - stating that the pictures should be square

should ALL the 10 images be square of just the 1st one

because when you upload the pictures there are 2 formats and some of the sellers on etsy have words on the 1st page to give the customer information 

so it would be helpful to know what format we should use so we can incorporate the information on the image appropriately

Any idea why the pictures in your shop are "Square" and when you do an Etsy search the pictures are "Landscape / Rectangle"

I been on etsy for 3 years now. and now the new pictures that I try put on, will not be excepted in my shop.. it does'nt except the pictures to post. in add item page. Please send me the information I need to let etsy except my pictures on my shop. thank you. PLEASE EMAIL.  what I need to do.

@handdesignerhats  If you are addressing your comment to Etsy, they will not reply nor email you from the forums. Do you mean "accepted"? and not "excepted"?

Upload images in 5:4 ratio, and make sure the product fits within a square in the center.

Use jpg images.

@handdesignerhats: Just so you know, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).

Your fellow sellers will be happy to try and help you but we need some details about exactly what problem you are having. Are you trying to do this using an Etsy app (on which operating system) or via mobile browser or desktop browser (which browser and operating system)? If via a browser, are you using the "old" or "new" listing form?
