Unable To Download 1099k for 2023

When I follow the directions on "how to" download the 1099K form there is no "download button" for the year 2023?  Is there a system error?  Or am I just trying to do this too early?

Never mind... I just got a reply from support -- seems the report is not "enabled" yet:

"I'd like to let you know that our approximate date to enable the 1099K form will be January 26, 2024, but if you do not receive it on that date, nothing to worry about since it will be enable"

Usually not until the end of January when they are required by IRS.  BTW, you will get a 1099 only if you meet the requirement for 200 orders and  $20,000 unless you are in a state with the $600 limit.

For any one wanting the figures that will be on your 1099 you can go to Finances>Legal and Tax Information and the information is there month by month exactly as it will appear on your 1099 when they are finally available.  If you don't qualify for a 1099 the total there is the amount you need to start figuring your 2023 taxes.

Seems to only apply for those who still have a store. I'm no longer part of Etsy and I am taken to a page to reopen.

Crikey - this happens every year, I swear.

I don't have the link on my dashboard any more either, and the Finance page  - Legal and Tax information is supposed to have a download button.  Not seeing it now.

@NikandLouLou  It will come back - check again tomorrow.  When more people report it as a technical error, it will get fixed.

Yeah, I'm mad at myself now because the button was there the other day and I didn't download yet because I was still waiting on my Husbands W2s to file and then I get on tonight to download them and the button is gone.

When I follow the directions of Etsy it wants me to re-open my store! I have tried every which way to get it. It takes me to a "reopen my shop". Now, why would I want to reopen my shop to get my 1099. 

Then it also says to reach out to Etsy. What a joke. You can't reach out to them and when you send in a message it is simply ignored.

I believe it's something that needs to be reported to the FTC and my governor as there are many tricks of trade on the part of Etsy in 2023. The losses are unbelievable when they just buried my account when I was selling up to $50,000 per year until 2023. 

I had to go the long way to get my shipping fees. Something they don't disclose. I had to use my deposit bank account to find fees + shipping!

etsy says if you shut your store, you can't get any information from it

I have the same issue. I don't have a download pdf link either, although I have opted for Mail and Electronic delivery.
