Unable To Add Tracking To My orders and Dispatch

I am facing this issue of being unable to dispatch my orders because the "review" option isn't clickable. I don't use Etsy labels for shipping and have been doing so for 2 years. When I add all the details about tracking, the review option isn't clickable. I don't know what to do, it is affecting my star seller rating and orders are overdue because of this. image

That says - package will dispatch from outside of India

but your shipping profiles say you ship from india

check shipping profiles actually match ship from country, as you have chosen Italy for ship-from, not India

I dispatch orders outside of India. I ship to almost all countries, then what should be my shipping country?

I sometime ship from the US, sometimes from Hongkong from our manufacturing units there.

What should I keep the shipping country as then?

You have to save in the shipping profile, the country you will ship that item from.

You can only ship a listing from one country, you can't ship a listing from multiple countries,

but you can ship different listings, from different countries.

That screenshot is saying you set it up as dispatching from India, so it will not let you put Italia post as a shipper, as they don't ship from India.

also, if you ship from a different country than the shipping profile, and anyone opens a NAD case, they will win, and recoup from you, as per etsy's tous

it's also illegal in a lot of places,

if somone from italy buys from you, and you say you ship from india, they are charged import VAT, becuase you did not tell the truth

if you ship from italy, to italy, you have severely overcharged them

I totally get your point on shipping one listing from One country. That makes sense.

So if there are items that I ship from India, I will need to have a shipping profile for India for that item. If I ship from outside India, I need to have a different shipping profile that states that I am shipping from outside of India.

This is what you meant when you said "You can ship different listings from different countries"

so if I ship an item from Hongkong to Italy, what will be the delivery company? I am confused about this. please answer.

If you ship from Italy, the listing has to say it ships from Italy

If it ships from hong kong, it has to say it ships from hong kong

you have to specify the exact country it will ship from.

....

If you ship from hong kong to italy, you have to have hong kong, as the ship-from country in the profile, before they buy, then, etsy gives you a list of the shippers in hong kong, that you can select the one you used.

They only show UK shippers if you have the shipping profile set to it ships from UK

and Italy shippers, if it ships from Itall ....etc

Now the question is how do I ship the existing orders? Etsy still is not letting me dispatch them.

I have no idea how the shipping works for shops based in India. I did read that for domestic orders you must purchase shipping labels via Etsy. I wonder if it's because you are not using a recognised shipping carrier for India. How and why are you shipping from Italy? I didn't see a production partner based in Italy.

I don't accept domestic orders and so I've never encountered any obligation to purchase Etsy labels.

I have been dispatching orders like this for 2 years. Nothing like this ever happened before.

@FelixFemme Etsy Change things all the time - sometimes for the better, sometimes it's a hot mess. You might be better off contacting support > follow the links in your shop manager (Help > Contact Us).

I contacted Etsy support yesterday, it's been about 24 hours since I opened the ticket, and no response yet.

They stated that it could take 1-2 days, so I will wait another day.

Hopefully, they get back.

Are you drop shipping? Purchasing from, for example, AliExpress, and having them send the products?

Most of the items I sell are handmade with the help of our production partners in Hongkong and the United States.

Etsy wouldn't be allowing me to sell if I was not complying with their policies. so that clearly states that It is not dropshipping of mass-produced items from China.

If you are an India seller, and choose paypal only, you can only sell outside of India.

Once you accept etsy payments, you have to ship to India, if the buyer pays a different way, and you ship from India.

although you will probably tell me I am wrong, like you always do.

I believe the confusion here is this statement

I think a beter way to explain the situation is to say: "For Indian Sellers, The Payment Account options control what a Shop CAN DO. However, the SHIPS FROM location determines what a Shop MUST DO". 

"If a Shop is located in India and has Pay Pal only, then the Shop cannot sell/ship TO India, but can sell/ship to other Coutries.

If a Shop is located in India and has Etsy Payments, then they can sell/ship TO India as well as to other Countries.

If the Shop is located in India and the "Ships FROM" location is India, then the Shop must sell/ship TO India.

If the Shop is located in India ana "Ships FROM" location is Hong Kong or US,  then the Shop MUST ship TO Hong Kong or US and can EXCLUDE selling/shipping TO India.

Sadly that is not true, Etsy does not vet its sellers, that is why there are so many illegal/resellers on their site.

There should be dropdown menus, from the listing, for Hong Kong delivery companies, if you had "Hong Kong" as the country (etsy has Hong Kong as a separate country), the company is who you buy the postage from, not the company that eventually delivers it.

So, when I am in UK and post to USA, I post UK Royal mail, and choose Royal mail, rather than the USPS company that actually delivers it to the door.
