Hello. So I recently changed my phone number and went to update it on my account but it won’t let me sign in because the code keeps getting sent to my old number. I cannot find anything on what to do about this. I can access my app, but cannot sign in on my laptop.
Any suggestions would be great thank you.
You can use one of the 10 backup codes you were given for this purpose, when it was set up

I don't use the app, but can you turn off 2fa in the app, if so, turn it off
change the phone number
then turn it back on again
Would they have sent the codes via email, text or some other way so I know where to look. It’s been a long time since I set it up and don’t remember.
@2ATrinityServices: The backup codes were available for you to download and / or copy from the two factor authorization (2FA) page at the time you enabled 2FA.
If the suggestion from @CraftyCornishMaids does not work, you will need to contact Etsy to have them disable your 2FA.
Mine weren't sent anywhere, (to do that, would negate the 2fa process) I downloaded them from the screen when I set up 2FA
Ok I’ll check my downloads then. I’ve been trying to find a way to contact support but I need to sign in to contact them lol.
it’s becoming a vicious cycle trying to get a hold of them…
they won't be in your downloads, unless you actually downloaded them

I downloaded them, renamed the file, and moved it to my etsy folder on my laptop, with a filename that has nothing to do with verification codes
Looks like they weren’t downloaded and the person who helped me set this up we don’t talk anymore, and I’m obviously not very good with technical stuff when it comes to computers.
I’m fairly lost at the moment…
So is there a way to contact them without needing to sign in?
I wasn't completely dumb and found where I put the back-up codes, but now I can't find how to change my phone number.
when you turn off 2fa, you can reset it to whay you want
Use a back up code that was sent to your email when you signed up.
I have checked both the original and the new email account I changed it to and can’t find any emails with codes even in the spam folder.
