Trying tup update VAT & Status, Shop stuck in holiday mode

Can anyone help, I attempted to update my VAT & Business status from sole Proprietor to a Limited Company last week. I filled in the relevant information and submitted it to Etsy. This wasn't accepted as it was flagged as I'd entered something wrong. It warned me that if I attempted 2 more times incorrectly they'd lock my shop. I attempted again, which was also rejected. Each time Etsy didn't say which field was incorrect, so it was a guessing game. I contacted Etsy on the chat and they said I should try again, and not to worry my info looks correct and I should be locked out - I tried again, and I was locked out!...

They then asked me to upload my Limited Company certificate which I did on 3rd October. the next day they emailed to ask to confirm my business name, which I replied to immediately. Since then I have heard nothing.

As I'm on holiday I have no access to chat, I can only e-mail or request a call back. Callbacks never seem to happen and I have now been locked out of my shop for a week. Our store is a hefty part of our income and I'm losing hope to getting this resolved. Each callback say we just have to wait - they know nothing and have no access to our info.

Please if anyone can help in anyway?

Purtroppo non posso esserti utile ma mi trovo anche io in una situazione analoga. Dopo la prima vendita Etsy mi ha messo in vacanza, quando ho provato a sostituire il documento che avevo caricato mesi fa non funziona nulla! Non riesco a caricare i nuovi documenti e a cancellare il vecchio! Potresti gentilmente darmi la mail a cui hai scritto? Magari riuscirò a risolvere!

It sounds like you are trying to transfer your account and shop from one legal entity to another legal entity and Etsy does not allow the transfer of shops and accounts. No, I wasn't trying to transfer my shop to someone else. As I said in the text you highlighted, I was  changing the type of business from 'Sole Proprietorship to Incorporated business' - it's a simple radio button and then filling in the relevant fields. This is due to surpassing the turnover in the UK to which I have to be VAT registered.
