Hi
Hope somebody can help,
Yesterday I had a message on my dashboard to confirm my phone number and a government ID upload to verify the business, I did this straight away, and they have instantly forced my shop into vactation mode and removed all my listings and ability to sell until etsy verify the information.
Having been on Etsy 5 years, we rely heavily on Etsy income, and ive had no response via the help service, i sent a message through that and not had a response.
Hope somebody can help or has been through similar and can at least advise on timescale to get back up and running as its causing us a great amount of worry especially with Halloween/Black Friday and Christmas coming up.
Thanks
Sam

did you put your taxpayer ID in the ADDITIONAL taxpayer ID, where you scroll down to where it says "United Kingdom UTR" and add your UTR there?
this is my problem as well. Soooo upset about this. Have been a seller on etsy for 11 years. Exact same business name, EIN, bank account etc. The info they are asking for only applies to an individual, not a business LLC which is what we have.
the chat is gone. no phone.
the "email" support has no response. I get some canned emails
any idea on how to verify a business?
@ElementalSuzanne: "Have been a seller on etsy for 11 years." Keep in mind that the ever changing laws means that what was acceptable verification yesterday may not be sufficient today.
"The info they are asking for only applies to an individual, not a business LLC which is what we have." Most of the laws now require that not only the business be verified but also a responsible human.
