Try this to stop popups on chrome

On your computer, open Chrome.

1. At the top right, click More Settings.
2. Click Privacy and security Site Settings.
3. Click Pop-ups and redirects.
4. Under "Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects," find the site. Add Etsy.com
5. To the right of the site, click More Block.

Sadly I don't know that this is going to work.  I checked my settings and pop-ups were already blocked so I added etsy to the blocked list, closed Chrome, and then re-opened it and I'm still getting them. 

Maybe those notifications don't fall under google's definition of a pop-up so Chrome can't block them?  Or maybe they only work if you are signed in to google?  I don't use gmail or google workspace so I'm not signed in. Maybe someone else who is signed in can test it and see if this is working for them.

I already had pop-ups blocked. Doesn’t Etsy know how irritating this is? It takes twice as long to buy some thing. Very counterproductive

Blocking pop ups can do more harm than good.  They can stop legitimate needs such as your bank and medical.  

On Etsy blocking pop ups has been known to cause issues with labels and using parts of the service.

I'm losing my mind with the review pop ups.  I bought five little pairs of earrings from a shop.  After getting annoyed with the review pop up I went to leave a good review.   IT NEEDS ME TO REVIEW EACH OF THE FIVE PAIRS SEPARATELY?!  This is insane.  I'm not leaving the same review five times or clicking through that many screens.  So now my option is to have pop ups every time I'm on my shop?  And never get rid of the red notification badge?  I must be having an irritating day but at this moment I feel like never buying from etsy again.
