Syncing issues between Etsy and Square

For several months I have had this issue on and off with Etsy and square. Square isn't at fault I've noticed. It's completely Etsy because I can't sync at all and every single time I try it just keeps swirling about on the page and I have tried three different browsers, I've even tried my phone, and I even tried what Square said which was going to incognito mode sign in and go through that. I still cannot sync my Etsy store to my square today. I don't know why.

The last time I tried this and it didn't work was because I had too many options and it wouldn't sync up. I know for a fact I don't have too many listings and I don't have too many options on any of them. For some strange reason this is giving me the hardest thing to do and I don't know why. My Etsy store is running just fine but I can't sync at all to my square.

I sell a lot of my product in person here in Georgia and I often put it through to my Etsy store to make sure I calculate my sales. Unfortunately though I don't have any way of syncing and I don't know why.

I've reset my phone, I cleared the cache and all my browsers, I've tried it on my phone, I've tried it on browser on PC, I've checked any setting I could find in the Etsy app and the square app, I've even tried to log in and out of both of Square, Etsy, and I even tried to unsync my store in my square and then redo it and it comes up but it won't sync again. I don't understand why and I don't get it.

I also looked in the forums and I see that it's still an ongoing issue and for some reason Etsy will not respond or do anything about it and just give generic responses. I'm about to make a square site because I'm getting sick of this crap. Luckily I need to make new business cards so I can always just tell people to go to that instead. I don't want to do this because I like using these two together because it's easier and I don't like this that if I set it up this way that means that people are not going to know to find me on square immediately.

If anybody from Etsy is reading this seriously, I can't get a hold of anybody. Please or love of God just fix this issue and get it over with

I'm having a similar issue today. I didn't yesterday, but today it's just swirling away. I feel mostly in person as well and will be leaving Etsy at the end of the year because of this and many other issues I've been having with Etsy.

I'm here to bump my thread again. It cannot for the life of it sync and I don't know why. I've been waiting for it all weekend. I'm glad I don't need to update anything currently like sales. I go out on Tuesday and I need to this to get fixed. I don't know if its Etsy or square.

There are no answers. Etsy did this to me again last weekend. They don't care. There is no support for seller's.

This is my first time trying to sync listings to square. (It's my first time having a square account). I've tried to sync 3 times this weekend and I CANNOT get it to sync. It just swirls. Does anyone know a different way to get my listings in square?

@WelchJigCo: Based on the other posts in this forum, this is an on-again off-again issue with no indication of which side of the sync is the problem. Unfortunately you can only synchronize from Etsy to Square.

I never had an issue before until this pass weekend. We had an in person market and it wouldn't sync up. I have contacted both etsy and square. Both are not helpful which is extremely disappointing. They just you to contact the other one.

This just happened to me yesterday and wound up spending close to 3 hours on the phone with Square agents, because I couldn't find anyway to get in contact with an agent from Etsy. luckily it appears to have finally gone through, but at what point did it finally succeed still eludes me. now I'm not sure I want to add anymore items to Etsy until this upcoming art fair in Armory Park passes by.

I have also had t his issue since last Friday.  I had started a new thread but no replies.  This has happened before and you are right.  Nobody seems to care or want to fix the problem.

You would think that, since Etsy makes money from offline sales, they would be proactive in resolving this issue. Their support is useless and it suprises me that they've been able to grow as they have with such poor support.

Has anyone gotten resolution? I'm so upset I have an event tomorrow and can't get my listings to sync. I've tried everything and same thing - Etsy and Square are each telling me to contact the other.

Been having this issue since March. Etsy doesn't seem motivated to fix the problem. I'm tempted to just stop using Etsy for sales at in person events entirely since they're pretty much useless if they can't sync to my square reader.

I am also having this issue, and have been for weeks. It was the only reason I purchased the Square terminal! I've just once again been told there is no timeliness for a resolution, it's so disappointing and frustrating!
