Is anyone else having trouble in messaging? If I need to edit something I typed or add to the message (like in the middle of the sentence), all of the new keystrokes go to the end of the original message. This is hard to explain but if you're having this issue - you know! It's so annoying!
Same here! Drives me crazy. Have to copy/paste from Notepad all my messages. I hate wasting my time on things like this!

It's so frustrating! Hopefully this helps a bit. If I need to insert something, then I move the cursor to where I want to insert the new text, press Shift+End to select, then Ctrl+X to cut, type what I want to type, then Ctrl+V to paste. It's still very painfully, but it should help in some occasions.
If I go into the order and respond there it does not happen. Only jumps around when I am in the messages tab and responding.
I've tried all the workarounds listed in this thread and the best, and quickest one for me is the one from TaylorStreetFavors!
In case the original gets separated from my reply: Taylor said that the issue doesn't exist if we go to our order page and click the "message" (envelope) icon.
That will take you to the last message you (or your customer) wrote and the editing function is back!!
I can't tell you how much time this has saved me, just in one morning! Thank you so much, Taylor!!

Yep had this just happen. I had to start my message all from the beginning and I typed really slow so as to not make any mistakes. This is annoying!
It's about time admin finally replied since I @ ampersay yesterday.
I still wonder when etsy removed the "technical issues" from any of the options on the CONTACT US page.
I know at one time there was a option to select for site issues but seems to have flown the coop.
I usually just contact customer support but, I can't find it either.

There was also "Known Issues" (a link I believe, in a paragraph above the Technical Issues part of the Forum). However, whenever I clicked it, there was never any info w/ the exception of a long ago problem (can't remember what it was).
I discovered "Known Issues" is gone (I believe it was also in "Help" drop down menu (not positive; can't keep up).
Re: Etsy "Status"; I've seen some mention it. But I don't know if it's only for those on soc. media (I'm not personally).
Same here. I rebooted the browser and was still having an issue. Came to the forums to see if others were dealing with the same thing. I guess so. Hopefully, they figure it out quickly.

I was happy to see that Announcement, and for you and any others it is fixed for.
A couple people reported in one Thread it still is not fixed for them. I didn't go through any other Threads. Hope it is soon rectified for everyone.

I've also noticed that we can no longer "undo". For example, if you delete something and want to undo it, it no longer works.
Sorry, I'm not understanding. I don't think I've ever selected Undo Just Renew > Edit > Publish or Copy > Edit > Publish.
I've never used Preview either (I'll Deactivate a listing to make Edits, then Reactivate it). I try to do it as simply as possible (not putting myself down, but frankly I need simplicity:)
THe problem is still there for me.. Etsy said that they fixed this issue, but I am still having the same issues.
Shoot, I'm sorry. In that other larger Thread I posted suggestions to the two people who were still having issues.
Maybe you could try those if you wish.
Also if you have the app (which I've never used); you could try uninstalling then reinstalling it).
Really hope something works for you.
