I am unable to completely set up a custom order from my messages. I am not able to set up shipping. I contacted an Etsy rep 1-1/2 weeks ago who told me they were aware of it and tech was working on it. I am still unable to get any set up. Is anyone else having this issue?
Also, why is it so hard to find the Etsy chat button? Did they remove it? It seems to be harder and harder to contact Etsy.
Any info is appreciated.

Please know that you can setup a custom shipping price when you create a private listing on the browser or the new Etsy Seller app. On the old Sell on Etsy App, you will be able to select a fixed-cost shipping profile. Live Chat seems to be live in the dashboard now
The newer version for Custom Orders is barely functional. I only set up a copied / reserved listing now, pay the darned 20 cents, view on Etsy, and send the link to my customer. Etsy is not listening to us. I'm sure whoever you get on Chat will forward your concern to the appropriate Team.

Custom listing process is a joke! We're having to jump through hoops to make another glitchy Etsy process work.
Seems like many sellers just make regular listings and mark them Reserved and just spend the 20cents right off the bat. It will also have the return policy included that the custom listing does not automatically include.
The custom order issue has existed since last year. Etsy probably would have fixed it a long time ago if the company believed it was broken.
I had a customer pay a custom listing before I could correct the shipping so she was kind enough to let me PayPal her an invoice for shipping. It was a sizable amount too.
