Star Seller shipping score with Printify

Hi everyone. I am a new seller on Etsy.

I just had my first sale (yeah!) and I see that it counts against my Star Seller orders and sales scores.

I am using Printify for fullfilment. The order was shipped on time but it looks like nothing changed for my shipping score.

I contacted support who told me to post a bug report here.

Hello @RabbitHoleDesignsNYC,

 

We've double-checked the first order on your shop, and we can confirm that it is counting positively towards your Star Seller. Please know that if you shipped an order ahead of its ship date without updating the ship-by-date, the order will count positively towards your Star Seller once the ship-date has arrived(given that a valid tracking number was added). 

 

Kindly note that the Orders on your Star Seller are counted by the ship-by dates within each 3-month evaluation period.

Please also note your first order only just starts the 90 day clock for the first time you will be eligible to get the SS. No matter what the rest of the stats are, you will not be eligible for the March or April badges, and possibly not for the May either (at it needs to be full months, so unless your first order was Feb 1st, February won't count).

@RabbitHoleDesignsNYC: Yes they tell you to post here but this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).

 

How long ago did the packages ship? Have the packages been scanned? If the shipper is supported by Etsy make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order. Often recent shipments are not correctly / timely updated. Usually a day or two after the package has been scanned the CSV file correctly shows tracking and shipment status and the Star Seller stats auto update (but not retroactively).

Did you check to be sure the Printify tracking number was posted to Etsy? While a label was printed, their mail is likely picked up around the same time each day and may not be in the postal system, yet.
