For the last 24 hours, Etsy has been putting my items as inactive the second I list and saying they're in violation of Etsy rules.
I make hand wired jewelry, I have many similar items, none have been removed.
Is this a glitch? Anyone else experiencing this.
I've only received one email from Etsy about removal despite it happening four times.
Thanks in advance for help.
Are you using a word that may be banned, even if it's just describing a color? A few examples are amber and ivory
Listings with those words are often auto-detected and removed when listed, then reinstated once reviewed (assuming the reason for removal was just the use of the word)

I used the word amber to describe color. Lesson learned. Thank you!
Just in case you're not aware, you can use it, if it's actually amber beads they just need to be above a certain size (I think 1.25"). The bots will remove them for review as soon as they're listed, but then put them live once reviewed. Some people stopped using the word amber at all because of this and tried to find synonyms, but that just means people that are willing to wait out the temporary deactivation are more likely to come up in search results when buyers are specifically looking for amber or amber colored items. Point being, if I sold anything with that color, I would still list it, just expect it will be removed and reinstated every time it's listed or renews.
What are the items?
Jewelry
I'm curious, for my own education why the word Amber would trigger deactivation? Is Amber a prohibited item? And why permitted if it is a larger piece.
There was a lawsuit a couple years ago where a kid died because of an amber necklace that was purchased from Etsy.

If you search the forum for 'amber ban', there's hundreds of posts about it. These are a couple with the most replies, and should give you all the background you need to the whole amber situation here.
