Hi, dispatched several items yesterday and booked them into my local evri parcel shops. The tracking on all but one isn’t updating and still says pre-transit (but on evri is correct). Any help?
hello, using the tracking numbers to close the order is the last action on your behalf. If you have delivered your packages to the courier, the tracking here is entirely the responsibility of your shipping company. If you have a problem, contact the shipping company and report the situation. they will help. Before you prepare your bill of lading, make sure that the tracking code is closed in the coompleted order section of the order and that you deliver your package to the courier. When the courier reads the barcode and receives your package, the process continues to change until your cargo is delivered.
Tracking updates in your Etsy is temperamental and could still remain on pre-transit or in transit after you completed your order, added tracking details, parcel has been delivered and review left.
In that case you have to contact Etsy with the order number so they can manually fix it so it does not affect your stats
Same problem here which is worse since using new seller app. Parcels dispatched with full tracking. Tracking not updating on most and some says pretransit. However on courier apps updates regularly and show delivered. And some places post are not signing parcels off. Is a very big problem. Tracking is very rarely connecting up with the couriers. So some orders show pre transit and some still in transit despite being delivered.
I always get this! I ship with Royal Mail and it never updates past the "Collected" status. Never shows its at a Mail Centre and never says delivered. I found a way around it though. What I do now is add the tracking numbers the day before and on the "Dispatch date" at the top left (On the website not sure if it's on the app) I always put Tomorrow. Then it updates fine and shows all tracking status including delivered.
Hi There. Just read this thread which is really helpful. Do you find this manual process still effective for you? Many thanks Jo x
Well tracking is still not updating on the app. Royal Mail on most orders is fine it is normal app problem. But l will say not all Royal Mail packaged are be signed for or scanned by postie's. So it is on going problem. But more of a app problem. Still orders dispatched wk ago are still reading on app pre transit or in transit. Despite being delivered on Royal Mail App. They don't seem to connect properly.
Its ridiculous. My shop has had a reserve placed on it, after 5 years and 3000 sales and a 4.9 rating. Because the tracking of Evri parcels never updates because their system is broken, Etsy dont care, parcels delivered and still showing pre transit. I have a late delivery and conveniently Etsy's seller protection programme is unavailable because "I didnt add correct tracking details" even though I can track the parcel using the same number. Parcels Etsy have refunded even though tracking shows they are due for delivery and later the same day they are delivered and then Etsy say theres nothing they can do, best was a £130 order refunded and it had been delivered 30 minutes later. Customer got a free item and I was massively out of pocket, Etsy will not intervene and I have to beg the customer to pay again and if they don't (which few do) its my tough luck. Etsy do not care about sellers.
I would never use that company ever again. 3 weeks for my esty customer to get their parcel when l 1st started out. Use Royal Mail the tracking is up dating now. They know their have been issues with it but it has been updating fine. And if for any reason it does not contact esty chat with order No tracking No sometimes best to have screen shot and they will guide you through security 1st then update manually. The courier you have been using well their parcels get delayed a lot then the tracking will revert back to pre transit even though was in transit prior. No customer services atall apart from that digital assistant. Too risky. Royal Mail even 2nd class has reference number which is compatible with esty tracking here in the UK.
