Hello. I'm new to etsy. I want to be a star seller like all sellers, but I didn't know that I had to enter tracking numbers for my first two orders. I will now need 40 orders to fix this situation. I would love etsy to help me with this. I thank you very much. enjoy your work

You aren't talking to Etsy, we are just other sellers. But Etsy won't care you didn't know (they expect you to read the rules, which are all posted in the Etsy Seller's Handbook) and they won't do anything about it. If it was recent, click on Complete Order and enter your tracking numbers now.
If you are buying your postage at the post office, I'd suggest you use a discount online postage service (wich will save you up to 35% over what the post office charges, plus it doubles the included insurance). If you use Etsy Labels or Pirateship.com for your postage (if you are in the US - Pirateship is what I use), both of those will post your tracking numbers for you without you doing anything. I haven't used the other online postage services, but I think they probably post tracking numbers automatically, too. But if you go to the post office, you will have to post them yourself when you come home.

Re: Tracking info
Click on the order in your dashboard, at the top of the order you will see a button "complete order" click on this and add the tracking details where requested.

Re: Tracking info
Adding tracking to an order can only be done within the first 72-hours. For more info about Star Seller requirements, click on the Star Seller tab in your shop manager … it answers many questions you may have and then some. FYI for new sellers … SS starts after your first 90-days in business.

Re: Tracking info
@CustomSign53: You have 72 hours to update the shipper and tracking number from the time you mark the order as completed https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015774228-How-to-Add-Tracking-and-Complete-an-Order-?segm...
You will not be eligible for Star Seller until the first 1st of the month that occurs 90 or more days after your first sale.

Re: Tracking info
you don't qualify for star seller for 3 months after your first sale, so hopefully you will catch up by then
