I checked my stats and realised that since I decided not to sell abroad anymore because parcels were being lost in transit, high taxes and whatever the new thing I was doing wrong in the world was causing climate change and I was hurting some snowflake's feelings etc. that my stats had hit zero.
On further inspection, it seems Etsy has withdrew ALL of my listings and I may have to wait up to seven days for someone to get in touch with me!
Hello?
What were you selling?
Recent deactivations by the etsybots have been for: knives, hoodies with drawstrings, amber, some babies bedding items, and various IP infringements
Must have been something that wasn't acceptable. OP has had 2 sales but although you can click on them, Etsy isn't showing what they were. OP probably isn't going to enlighten us either.
If you were using well know icons like sesame street or anime or cartoon characters, that might be a problem. Also Etsy rules are "designed or handmade by you", or "Vintage" (20+ years old) or a "supply" to make other things.
Etsy deactivates listings for a variety of reasons, sometimes automatically via bots. Check for emails from Etsy and also read the seller policies: http://www.etsy.com/uk/legal/sellers/
you have no payment methods, did you verify your bank account with the small deposit, and send any ID etsy asked for

Hello!
@Marmalady asked the most pertinent question that must be answered before any solid replies can be provided. Based on the information given in the original post, only guesses can be given.
Considering the use of the term, "snowflake" and other relatively derogatory remarks, I'd guess the reason listings were removed was due to the items being on Etsy's list of products not permitted on their platform, perhaps falling into the categories 4, 5, 6, and others.
Sure hope you come back and let us know how things worked out and what Etsy had to say about it.
Seem to be prints of magazine advertisements, one is Spiderman based.
“I was hurting some snowflake’s feelings”, whenever I see that phrase regurgitated it tells me all I need to know about someone’s demeanor and attitude towards others.
So while different things can certainly affect your shops views, taxes, climate change and being distasteful aren’t typically going to cause your listings to be taken down, but selling copyrighted, stolen and illegal goods will. What exactly were you selling?
<<applause>>
When an opening post starts out snarky and negative, I hesitate to try to help because the thread quickly goes downhill.
PErhaps your listings expired or are they showing as deactivated.
The snowflake bit is really telling. I find it hard to express any sympathy for your predicament.
If you never finished your shop. Never verified bank, Etsy has the right to suspend your shop. That information is listed in several places. Up to you to know the rules.
I love Snowflakes!!!!!
Me, too! They're all unique and beautiful.
I just moved from south Georgia to Wisconsin so I have a feeling I will be seeing a ton of snowflakes this winter.
The OP's listings are back, however the shop still has no payment methods, policies, etc.
One thing that we may need to keep in mind is that I believe Etsy is allowing non-USA based shops to open without any confirmed/entered banking information. Then the shop owner has set time lines after a first sale &/or just being open to the public to add the info.
This snowflake (is that what they call us gray-haired people, no wait, that's a q-tip/cotton swab, isn't it?) will post some recommended light reading for the OP:
https://www.etsy.com/legal/policy/selling-to-eu-buyers/239965962014?ref=list
https://www.etsy.com/seller-handbook/article/the-ultimate-guide-to-intellectual/22398703823
I will also suggest to the OP that they check their email - spam & promotional folders too - for any messages from Etsy regarding the need for banking &/or identification information.
Snowflake has nothing to do with age. The Urban Dictionary definition is: “A very sensitive person. Someone who is easily hurt or offended by the statements or actions of others.”
I think it's fair to say the OP would probably label everyone who's responded a snowflake.
It means neither of those things when used around my town or surrounding cities. I don't feel right about defining it.
I guess it has multiple meanings and none seem to be good ones....with the exception of real snowflakes (unless a person hates snow).
OP, you do realize I could order a poster of Michelin tires and then demand a refund and not have to send the poster back. That's because you have no policies and UK selling rules provide for a year's leeway for refunds without return of merchandise. Read up on what you need to sell legally on Etsy, add an "About" page and get those all-important policies in place.
@PiecesOfMePaperCraft - Yes, I was aware of the "true" definition of a snowflake. But here in Florida the cotton swab reference is quite popular due to the number of retirees the State attracts. In fact, in the 1970's & 80's Florida was known as "god's waiting room" & other not so favorable nicknames, lol.
As you mentioned, the initial tone of a thread can be telling. Maybe I was trying to do my one good deed for the day? Though I did want to mention the oddities we might notice in a Shop's payment methods. I saw an Etsy article on the new Plaid thing & read the bit about some shops not needing to set up banking info. immediately. (That seems to yell "glitch waiting to happen".)
I always find it funny when people put watermarks on stolen images to stop people stealing them.
I do love that entire genre of vintage ads, but I am surprised that Etsy considers scans and reproductions of other peoples work as handmade (as @2eehy3gzg2ye6rcj has indicated on their listings) and that their bots have not found any trademark or copyright issues.
Etsy’s customer service for deactivated listings is in SERIOUS NEED OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! I’ve been waiting 3 weeks now for response to what I believe to be a mistaken deactivation.
I’m sorry, nobody’s home….it’s frustrating, Etsy….
PS edited to add I have had my recently deactivated listing up for over 6 years, with sales & reviews…
Sometimes they change what is allowed and add things to the prohibited list. Lately a lot of children's items are now prohibited for safety reasons. Many have had bot removals for using the word amber.
Well your shop is full of TM infringment. Breaking the rules and laws have nothing to do with snowflakes
