I usually have about 3-4 pages of orders. Is anyone having the issue where you're on your Orders page, you click on the Message icon to type a message to the customer (I send proofs to all my customers) and then after I'm done messaging, the Orders page scrolls all the way back to the first order on the first page? Mine is doing that EVERY time and it's annoying because I have to find where I left off in my Orders page.
Yes.... this is happening to me as well. Just posted about it.
There are already several threads about this in this forum, for example https://community.etsy.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Order-page-jumps-to-top-when-Clicking-on-an-order/m-p... and https://community.etsy.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Orders-page-keeps-scrolling-back-to-the-top/m-p/13925... They may have some information that may help you. @LavenderDotsDesign We find that using the "progress steps" feature on the orders page helps manage orders and makes these kinds of irritants less annoying.
once you have your list of open orders on the screen, find the one you want to deal with and instead of clicking on it to open, try right clicking and choose “open in another window” (or however it’s stated).
once you deal with the order, close that window only and it should have kept your place in the original window. this is the only work around i can think of.
@DreamGreatDreams For us, on desktop and in the browser, your suggestion does not work because the click opens an overlay popup not a new window. The scrolling problem is most likely caused by the javascript used to open the popup. Before the "improvement" to using popups this was a great suggestion.
