I'm not sure if I am missing an email setting (all of the email settings attached to my profile are un-checked) but as a seller, I feel like Etsy is just spamming me to death with emails for every little thing.
I'm on Etsy constantly, I watch for orders in person on the site, etc. I don't need emails for every single order, tracking update, label purchase, my purchases, etc. Honestly I would be a lot happier if all of that could just be managed through the shop dashboard.
Today I checked my shop email and had loads of totally non-necessary emails from Etsy, including a few 'did you get this item your ordered?' emails, and pretty much a parallel conversation to a support chat I opened with Etsy live support in August, asking me to send screenshots. I'm not managing the same conversation across two messaging platforms simultaneously... get real.
Is there a way to reconfigure my shop email settings to pare down how much redundant junk is cluttering up my inbox? It almost feels like sorting and deleting all of the extra junk is a whole extra chore.
No, there is no way to stop those emails
Yes you can.
Go to Account settings in the Profile drop down, and go to Emails and opt out.
There are a couple that you cannot opt out of but most of them you can.
@CarnivorousThings: You seem to be suffering the exact opposite of what many sellers complain about - that they do not receive any of the important eMails.
There is no way to opt out of (often legally required) transaction eMails. For the rest, perhaps this will help you https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001890208-How-to-Change-Your-Etsy-Email-Settings
