Thumbnails not saving, new preview box too large, tooltip in the way

1. I adjust a listing's thumbnail and it doesn't save. I refresh, try again, clear my cache, etc. and it still doesn't save. I have to deactivate those listings because I don't want a crappy looking thumbnail in my shop. So all that work to fill out the listing is gone, along with the Etsy fee.
2. The thumbnail preview box is too big. This huge box doesn't map to how the thumbnails actually look in my shop. Also, I've seen several different sizes of thumbnails -- the mobile app, mobile browser, social overlay, search results, have all different sizes of thumbnails, so it's impossible to line up the product image in a way that will look good on all of them. If you can't streamline all of those so they're the same size, at least give us a preview of all of them so we can place the image in a way that works for all of the potential renderings.
3. The tooltip "What's the listing thumbnail?" is in a terrible spot. The tooltip is right in the middle of the image adjuster and the actual image, and it has a huge hover card that appears when your mouse scrolls over it. So I have to move my mouse around the tooltip so the hover card doesn't cover the image. That tooltip should be off to the side for folks who need it -- once you've listed a few products, you know what the thumbnail is.

Same here - it takes 3 or 4 times for the thumbnail to stick.

You're lucky, it takes me 8 to 10 edits for the thumbnail to show correctly. So frustrating!!!

This works for me, I'm not sure if it will work for you, you may give it a try. Just edit it once, save, and leave. Come back in an hour or so. The thumbnail should be displaying properly in the way you edited it. I did this for like 10 listings in a row, and it worked for me. I used to edit it multiple times too and was so frustrated. So I basically just gave up and left. Then to my surprise, all those thumbnails turned out good after some time.

#1 has been broken for years. 

#2 and #3 - try making the display bigger or smaller with the control key and + sign at the same time (or control minus sign). This will adjust things so they aren't so irritating.

Didnt have any trouble with it all these years until yesterday.

Had to get items back out and retake pics to try and get the whole item in the thumbnail.

It kept cutting the top parts off of the 4 things I listed.

Hopes its better today as I need to list some vintage!

Sigh.
