I have been receiving several messages from buyers saying they can't checkout. It shows this error message:
There was a problem with your order. Please try again
I have tested myself from a different account and I get the same error too. When I try to purchase from another person's shop. All is fine but I and neither can my customers purchase from my store.
Is anyone else having this issue? Have you had this issue before? If so how was it fixed?
I have spoken to 2 different chat admin, one said there was nothing wrong. The other said they got the same message but didn't know why.
I'm not sure what to do. I'm loosing customers because of this error message

Amazing update everyone. Etsy has just contacted me to say they have fixed bug. Yay! Happy dancing all over the studio at the moment. Whoop whoop.

I went as far as I could without actually purchasing and had no problem.
The people who do chat are not Etsy employees and don't always understand the system. You might be better off submitting a ticket. Did either of the chat people say they were passing on your issue to a more knowledgeable person?
Do be careful about trying to purchase from yourself, even from a different account. It could be considered shilling and get your shop shut down.

I didn't go ahead with the purchase, I just wanted to see if I would get the same error message. In all honesty I didn't think of shilling at all. I'll be more careful from now one.
They managed to give me a ticket number, if I do not get an email. I will keep using chat referring to the ticket number.
It's such a mess, customers are not happy. Thankfully I have some understanding customers too.
Have you tried asking them to use a browser instead of the app? There have been problems with checking out on the app recently.
Your shop looks fine to me on the browser.
Could you continue to the checkout? Do you get an error message?
The store front seems fine, it's when they go to pay.
My customers sent screenshots. I've passed them onto etsy. Fingers crossed it will be solved soon.
Ah, yes, there's an error when trying to pay. I tried all the payment methods, and got the same error every time.
Thanks for trying. I'm wondering if I'm the only seller with this issue. In a way I hope not because etsy may actually take it more seriously then.
I just finished up some impulse shopping here and had no problems checking out. I loved 3 sets of beads and did actually try to buy them but I too got the error. Weird! I hope they fix the problem soon.
Would love if you come back with the solution in case it happens to others.
PS: Your photo with all the little drawers along the wall made me swoon with envy. #goals

I wonder if my US based customers are having this issue with my shop. For the past few days, I've only been receiving only international orders in the middle of the night/early mornings (2-3 am). It's quiet all throughout the day. I've been wondering if my shop's location was changed by Etsy somehow but I checked my location is still correct. Hmm...
I'm in the states and had no problem getting through all the way to the end without actually purchasing.
So I think your shop isn't having the same issue as the OP

Just tried again and still getting the error. Sent you a new screenshot so they can note the time stamp.
There is someone who tags a Etsy specialist and that seems to help sometimes. I don't know the specific name, EnigmaPuzzle(something)
Hopefully the generous seller that usually does that will come along and tag them.
I've got EXACTLY the same problem since Wednesday!!! Try to contact Etsy via chat twice - and got the same answear - your shop and lisitngs are fine, change web browser, let buyer contact us, etc - of course nothing help:( No idea what to do:(((
If you're just using chat, try submitting a ticket. Chat people are not always knowledgeable.
They may be right about having buyers contact support. Sometimes buyers get better results from support than do sellers.
@secondarycreations Etsy just closed my ticket saying it has been resolved. I'm so frustrated. They're not taking us seriously.
It has been 3 days since I reported that none of my buyers can checkout from my shop. It has still yet to be fixed.
I have spoken on chat, opened tickets to be closed by chat staff because ''resolved'' but it hasn't been resolved! Asking customers to clear caches and updating browsers does not work.
When my buyers click to checkout an error message appears: There was a problem with your order. Please try again
I have provided over 20 different customer screenshots showing the error and other sellers have contacted me stating they have the same problem and yet we are still not take seriously. 3 days with absolutely no orders. Who knows how many other sellers have been affected. We only know if a customer contacts us.
Please help etsy, I know you do not monitor the forums much but I'm lost and have no idea where to contact anymore.

I have been dealing with the same issue on and off since Oct. Etsy support has not been helpful at all.
I've been experiencing this same problem since October-ish with admin not being able to provide any insight and some saying there is nothing wrong with my store. I've since opened an in-depth analysis to be performed on my store with their tech team and am hoping to get it resolved soon. It's been about a week and a half and no update yet and I know I am losing business due to this ongoing issue
Sorry this isn't resolved yet. Sometimes I wonder if they even look at the screenshots we send them. I was having issues with my dashboard and sent them screenshots. They proceeded to ask me for the order number attached to the issue on the image attached. The image is my dashboard not working. It's not a sale??? They told me nothing was wrong. Anyways, yesterday they finally acknowledged in a thread that there are dashboard issues. Hopefully they work on this issue soon!
@LylaSupplies That's way too many Buyers having trouble checking out. I see there is an Announcement at the top of Technical Issues, but it's in regards to having difficulties Signing In (and is supposed to be fixed now).
I wonder if you could "at" the Admin at the top of this Thread. I feel badly for you and others having trouble, and the fact that you're stuck. Cannot make customers jump through hoops to purchase. If there are problems, they will go elsewhere. The thing is; when they don't see a large number of people having trouble, they assume it's not a widespread problem. But I feel for you and don't know what else to suggest.
