There's a brief delay in your scheduled deposit

I have been selling on Etsy for over eight years. I elect to to get my deposit once a month. For the last five months, on the exact day that I am to be paid, a yellow banner shows up in my account that says "There's a brief delay in your scheduled deposit...this typically takes 3 business days".

While this is incredibly frustrating, I've reached out to Etsy each time and they were able to fix this within the same day and I was able to get my deposit the next day. Keep in mind, I do large volume, so the support team told me above a certain threshold, they just review before releasing the funds. Fine, I get it. Of course it shows up again in September. I reached out to Etsy support asking them to schedule my deposit for the next day and I've been ignored. I've called they tell me they are passing it on a "specialist". Under my "Support Requests" it is random bots, not people, who are replying. 

This is infuriating. Sellers are essentially begging for their own funds to be released? This is specifically after they have already taken their percentage. No I haven't made any changes to my account, I've been consistent for 8 years. I really do not like coming to forums, but I feel getting in contact with support has lead to no solution. I've documented everything.

Has anyone had any advice in dealing with this?

are you saying that, because your once-monthly deposit is a large amount, etsy delays it to manually review it? that's interesting. i certainly wouldn't enjoy having to ask for my deposit every month. are you comfortable sharing what you think the threshold is for manual-review?

Yes. I do plan to change this. Today is day 3 and still zero support from Etsy.

It seems like the Etsy reps are not very savvy at all and the information given is not too reliable.  I am wondering what happens if you just leave it?  Have you ever tested it to see if the funds do arrive within the 3 days or sooner?  If they arrive regardless then you could adjust your expectations to receive your money on a Wednesday or Thursday instead of feeling aggravated each month?

Thought about this but I also read another thread where a seller was waiting over two weeks. Seems as though, if you don’t advocate for yourself, no one else will.

I receive daily deposits, once in awhile it would be late, but wondering if you should change to once a week so it does not get to such a large amount and income would continue to flow weekly

If it is because they are large amounts, would it be easier for you to change to weekly deposits?

then you get it sooner anyway, and there probably wouldn't be the 3 day delay either

I do wish I had this problem though - too much income for the payment deposit to cope with!!

This also means a lot of overhead and expenses, though. Another reason this is infuriating.

Love your shop! I would differently change to weekly deposits. It wouldn't cost you anything, and maybe would relief some stress.

Update: The message in account settings disappeared for a few hours as Etsy promised it would be available for deposit today. I selected "Deposit now" and the message reappeared. Unbelievable. No support at all.
