The Etsy Up event is showing as sold out

that seems wrong for a virtual event, right?  Or did they really "sell out" of a free event in just one day? 

Never mind, it now says you can sign up again. Whatever...

Indeed quite strange. I contacted CHAT several hours ago to ask why the event is showing as sold out after one day when past virtual events were open even after the start of a session.  The rep’s response after checking into it further was that it “was not available”.  Hopefully just a set-up glitch and it will reopen.

Early bird gets the worm! 

I heard about Etsy Up back in June and signed up then. LOL! 

I do wonder why eBay does a multi-day annual event ("eBay Open") and Etsy only gives us a one hour annual event. Any thoughts about this?

@PrairiePrimitives People can still sign up today; I did. It's just glitching, apparently. 

Pretty sure it is longer than just 1 hour. They've posted more videos than that in the past. (I consider it a waste of time, honestly. Just stuff for beginners, and pushing paid tools.)

The email confirmation I got shows 10 to 11 am (my time), so I'm assuming it's just one hour. And I think I remember it being just an hour in years past. 

eBay's speaker line-up includes multiple VP's and the CEO, in addition to other top-level staff.

@GieseDeseiGns Ironically, I wasn't actually trying to sign up, but wanted to check the link was valid so I could send it out in my newsletter today. 

Now I have ended up signing up because I wanted to make sure the link really was working. Which it is; I got the invite email.

Etsy always seem to know when I am on vacation to have this event,  so mentioned You Tube because thats how I have watched it in the past, when I wanted to.
