I need some help and advice. I recently received a notification from Etsy stating:
“You can’t access your account. We’ve noticed possible suspicious activity on your account. For security purposes, we’ve temporarily limited your access to protect your information until you reach out to us.”
Has anyone else experienced this issue? What steps did you take to resolve it? I’ve reached out to Etsy Support but haven’t received a response yet. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Before posting on the Forums, please check if you are not bumping an old thread that hasn't seen any activity in a while. You can do this by looking at the dates of the most recent replies.

This happened to my main shop tremundostudio.etsy.com over 3 weeks ago. I didn't receive an email, only a banner showing when I try to log in that I have limited access due to "suspicious activity" and I can't log in at all plus my shop is down. I can still log into this account. I did get a support call back last week that told me the case was escalated and I'd get an email. I still haven't received an email about why and how with the account. When I try to send a message to support this morning the response is now I have an overdue bill, of course I do I can't log in to pay it! Not sure what to do. As I have no idea as to why.

Unfortunately Etsy customer service is the worst. All you can do is keep trying.

This is an old thread. But, your shop is breaking Etsy's rules on mature imagery. That could be the reason you've been shut down.
