USPS Global Post not recognized by Etsy as Valid Tracking

Counts against my Star Seller Valid Tracking and support is useless.

You are located in Portugal so it's impossible for you to use USPS to ship.

Re: USPS Global Post not recognized by Etsy as Valid Tracking

Hi Nana, Thank you for your nice reply.
I have 3 studios - 2 in the US, one in Portugal.
I ship worldwide from all 3 locations.
When shipping items located in the US to overseas customers, I use USPS Global Post purchased through Paypal/ship station.
Thanks!

You are shipping in the US.  Global post labels are not USPS. USPS is only for the domestic portion of the delivery.  Once it reaches the facility, Asendia takes over and they deliver to the country in question.

If you mailed the package within your processing time frame and USPS has it in transit then that meets the star selker.

You do realize all shops must be mentioned in the public profile.  In addition you cannot sell the same items in both shops.  That is against Etsy guidelines

Re: USPS Global Post not recognized by Etsy as Valid Tracking

Hi ArtDolls,
Thank you for your nice reply.

In these events, with orders placed by customers located outside the US, for items located inside the US, when I am not in the US, I must buy labels on Ship Station through Paypal.

USPS transfers the dropped off packages to contract agent Go Global Post.
Go Global Post then contracts with local Last Mile delivery agents depending on the location of the customer. (UK, Australia, Canada, etc).
Go Global Post wasn't recognized by Etsy tracking at any point over the years, even though the label is USPS Global.
This has always been counted against my seller rating.
Sometimes the last mile carrier is recognized by Etsy and I'm able to get the delivery confirmation.

I haven't encountered Asendia.
Could it be that you got Asendia based on your own location?

I sell unique items.
Every mask is made with my hands, hand painted by me.
Each piece is unique.
There are no identical items in my shops.
All of my shops mention all of the locations where I create my work.
Thanks for your concern.
I'm doing my best, and Etsy has been very supportive in answering my questions about running two shops.
Based on their advice, I put up the notices and so on, and have not had any problems selling unique items, they've been very clear and helpful with their policies.

I posted about Global Post to help others avoid getting the hit on their star seller rating when Etsy has not recognized the valid Tracking number.

Thanks!
C
