Hello. I just opened my store, a few customers contacted me saying they placed orders but didn't receive their order and money was deducted in their accounts. Please help...
These people are scammers. You have no orders so no-one has purchased anything from you. Don't give any information to these people - don't give them an email address, don't give them bank or card details and spam the messages.
Also make sure not to click any links in any messages you receive like this. If you are ever unsure, do what you have done now and speak to other sellers in the forums.
@GlitteramaCrafts Oh cripe, we were typing together.
@ChillwolfArt These scammers are really starting to annoy the cr*p out of me. There are so many of them now every single day. There's no knowing how many new users who don't use the forums there are out there who have been scammed without even realising!
@GlitteramaCrafts I feel the same way.
Hi, Welcome to Etsy. I hate to ask, but you did you click onto any links within Etsy Messages? Maybe ones saying the Buyer needs your email for an Order. Or ones claiming to be from Etsy Support/Staff, etc. (I hope you haven't, but there has been an infestation of scammers).
At the moment the <<From Etsy>> tab is not working as it was added recently....." Neue Verkäufer wie auch ich es bin bekommen da schnell mal das zittern und sind fast geneigt darauf zu antworten.
@MJmalenials: It is NOT an order - real orders will show up on your Orders & Shipping page and your Payments page.
It is a SCAM - if you provided any personal or financial information contact your financial institution immediately. If you provided any log in information you need to change those passwords.
