Posting because I've tried everything and I am getting desperate trying to figure this out.
Like many of us, I receive the email reminding to verify seller info. I went ahead and did so, however there is an additional roadblock that I've run into - I got married so I recently changed my last name, and the verification will not go through.
I've submitted my Drivers License and Marriage Certificate (PDF merged into 1 document) to this link https://www.etsy.com/upload/namechange but heard nothing. I understand it can take a couple days though.
I changed my bank account to one that has my married name, because I know that's necessary for verification.
The trouble I'm running into is at the actual Taxpayer Verification section. When I upload my new Drivers License to the Government-issued personal ID section, it gets rejected. I am sure that it's not blurry, and I have even tried uploading a document of the Drivers License merged with a PDF of my EIN as some people have stated in other forums. When I look at my Legal shop information, my Full Name is listed as [Business Name LLC My Maiden Name SOLE MBR] in all caps, because that's what was recommended on Forums last year to get my information accepted for the 2023 verification. However, when I click "Edit", the Full Name is auto populated as "[Married Name], Pending" so I don't really have an option to change that, which is fine except for the fact that I am receiving emails from Etsy Trust stating that that Full Name field requires a personal name, not a business name. I understand that, but I can't actually edit it, and it's not saving on its own, maybe because my name change documents have not been looked at.
I am running out of time, because I only have 5 days to get this verified, and I only have 1 attempt left before my account is locked. I am getting desperate, and I feel like I'm in an endless loop with no help.
I know that Etsy support doesn't see these forums, but I just don't know what else to do. I opened a support ticket and explained the situation the morning this happened 2 days ago, and today I made a reply on that same ticket (I was sure to not open a new ticket) to hopefully get some help. Please, if anyone has any input, I would be so grateful.
