I am having a real problem getting Etsy to acknowledge and fix a tax id issue. My account is currently on a forced holiday due to this and after many, many emails and live chat conversations, I am still no further forward.
There is an option to insert an Singapore UEN number in the dropdown menu for tax ID on etsy dashboard. When I enter my details I get an error message. Spoke to several people who told me to contact my tax advisor to clarify. I did this and of course, i clarified that my details are correct.
I also provided a url for Etsy to visit and insert my UEN to retrieve my company's details - all there in black and white. In addition to this, I provided several screenshots as well as a link to someone else's thread on etsy community to show the same issue.
Why is Etsy not doing anything about this? I am not the only one with the issue.
Losing patience with this company. Hoping the community can be more helpful!
