Say a customer places two orders the same day, and you ship both items on time but in one single package. It used to be possible to enter the same tracking number for both orders. That's not possible anymore, if you try the system will say something like: this tracking number has already been used. So the only option available says: no tracking number because this order is linked to another order.
This would be fine, except that the system will record the order without a tracking number as not being shipped on time. Last month I had a few customers who placed multiple orders which I shipped in one package per customer. I entered the tracking number when completing one order, and chose "No tracking number because this order is linked to another order" when completing the other order. This lowered my on time shipping stats to 92%, even though I shipped 100% of items on time and with tracking. Because of this, I lost my star seller badge. I contacted seller support, and was told that Etsy staff cannot fix the shipping stats manually or reinstate star seller badges manually, and that I need to post this concern here.
December is the time when customers are most interested in buying jewelry, and I will be losing customers because of a system flaw. Please fix this, Etsy.
Same happened to me..... The system says Tracking Number is missing and that the order is on Pre Transit although the order is already delivered by the customer and is so recorded by the Couriers System (DHL).
I contacte the Etsy Support on the Chat and at first the Bot answered . Because the issue could bot be resolved they brought me in contact with an Agent named Kath who , after i verified my shop and sent screenshots of the delivered order and Tracking Number she said that the Technical Team would resolve the problem. Of course , nothing was done and now i lost the Star Seller badge for fast shipping.
After the first contact the Chat is not responding

@ArtandPlayJewelry: Not sure what your workflow is, but we just processed several multiple orders going in one package today and had no problem entering the same shipped date, shipping company, and tracking number into multiple orders when we marked them as complete.
Are you perchance using Etsy labels? And are you doing this on the app or via a browser?
I don't use etsy labels and i do this on pc
