I have more than one Etsy store. I keep only sell one type of item per store. I was going to open one for another product and as soon as I did the they suspended the store. I hadn't even listed a single item.
Anyway, I then logged into my main account the one with all the sales. They suspended that account also, but gave no reason.
Is that common? They responded to my appeal within a day and say decision is final and I cannot further talk to them about that issue.
I read a long post on Reddit that says I still can be reinstated, no matter what that email says, just give it up to 2 or 3 weeks.
If I do end up staying suspended all I want to know is why.. is it common for them to not say why? The new store that got suspended has a brand new email, so it's not like I had to go digging through emails.. there are NO emails why on either of my accounts. However, I find that they haven't suspended this account which has canvas paintings.
Isn't there any way I can email or talk to a real human? Because I'm having a hard time finding a way just to contact someone. There's so many things to click in order to find a way to just ask "Can I ask why I was suspended?"

I will say that someone gave me a link to get a call back. It's Saturday and they did call me back. It was an outsourced call center for sure (middle eastern Indian) but he was alright to deal with. Tried to be understanding, took down notes, saw that I have not received a response and that I'm awaiting funds. He said he forwarded it to another department that could help and gave me a ticket number.

Sorry, I don't know the reason but I've also noticed recently this has been happening to a lot of existing sellers when opening another new shop. I hope you will come back and let us know what happens so we can help advise others.

They took down Barbie.. I guess I can't use the word. Even though the font and color was slightly different. It had a picture of a raccoon. I really just saw the design on another Etsy store, which still has that design up in their store. I never sold one. I designed it myself and didn't just take the other person's de sign.
As for the "JarJarBie" there's other people who have them also.
Anyway, it's not about those being taken down. It's about them not saying that's why they suspended my account and not paying me $19.66 that is owed.

Eight infringements in the first 8 listings.
Just because others are doing it doesn't mean that you can get away with it, especially since you are already on the radar screen.
Listen to @BriarMoonBeads. If it even hints at infringement they will find it.

There is very likely a reason, Etsy use AI for this now so it's only got to see one 'wrong' thing and it'll blip you out. When you open a new shop it asks you to draft a listing; what exactly was in that listing? If it wasn't set up right, it might've triggered the removal bot. It might just be a simple case that you were selling something a lot of others do - POD maybe - and Etsy decided they had enough POD shops this month. I don't see a lot of shops say 'etsy suspended me!' who aren't POD.
It's weird that the other one was suspended when you logged into it but that this one is still there, given there's a ton of things that could get you suspended about this one.

All those people are on borrowed time, as are you. Etsy operates under safe harbour, which means they aren't legally responsible for your counterfeits; the IP holder has to report you as breaching property rights, then you get taken down. Some people last years, some last days. For me I don't think I'd want to build a business where one day I log on to discover all my hard-earned success has been obliterated.
If you want to keep this shop open, delete all the IP infringing listings and create wholly original content. 'original content' means there's nothing about it that references or portrayed copyrighted/protected material. Parody is an arguable defence in some cases, but if the Barbie font is trademarked, you can't use it. Really you are currently lucky that Etsy hasn't banned your IP or this store would be gone too.

When did your shop got suspended? If it got suspended in January you'll get your money in June / July. Suspension in February: July / August

It doesn't matter if the words are different; the font / typeset is the same, and the connection is implied. Fonts and typeset are covered under trademark, and the colors are the same.
"Dave and Busted", "K*Liss", "The Price is Wrong", the Biden tshirt with the Walmart logo.... Etsy doesn't always outright give the reason for suspension because they sometimes assume the seller already knows what they did wrong, and knew they would get caught eventually.
What were you selling in your other shops? (or trying to sell?)
