Anyone else not receiving their email notifications for all their orders? I’m experiencing it intermittently, with an email for one but not for another, and the issue just began in the last hour. Anyone?
Yes! I thought it was just me. Got an order last night and the email came through about three hours later
I haven't received one since last January, despite having multiple sales per week
I get an email in about 1 out of 5 sales.
I would advise everybody to not rely on those notifications.
Check your shop at least once a day - 2x a day is better.
Unfortunately, buyers can't rely on notification emails from Etsy for purchases, either.
I sold an item today and got the email after an hour.
As a buyer, I almost never get transaction notifications anymore. But so far I'm getting them as a seller.
Etsy's communication system has been iffy for months and months.
Etsy is like some old tenement building that they have pretty much stopped maintaining.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Same with the emails notifications...sometimes, not always! And sometimes the emails come the next day!

The missing emails turned up; there was obviously a glitch.
Emails from Etsy have been intermittent for me - sometimes I get emails, and sometimes I don't.
Looking at my mailserver logs shows why - my mailserver is showing a "550 Invalid sender" error for some Etsy emails, which means my mailserver is checking with the Etsy mailserver if the sender email address is valid, and the Etsy mailserver is saying it's not valid.
I suspect the intermittent behaviour is likely because Etsy has multiple outbound mailservers, and it will depend which mailserver is being queried.
Etsy isn't the only one with this issue - I have seen similar issues with emails from PayPal, eBay, and various other places.
@BlackMarketChicago: Presuming that the eMail was sent, many bad things can happen after the eMail has left Etsy's eMail server. Your eMail provider or Internet Service Provider or even a relaying server could be blocking the eMail in error and it never even makes it to your eMail client much less your SPAM or junk folder.
Etsy eMails come from a number of different eMail servers, and at least some of them appear to be misconfigured as it has been reported that some respond "sender not found" went queried and then your eMail provider may be (understandably) blocking that eMail before it even gets to you.
Again presuming that the eMail was sent and depending on where in the process the eMail was blocked and who your eMail provider is, sometimes whitelisting the sending domain can help.
I always get an email. Some delay may be the result of one's email provider. I know when I get a Yahoo email it isn't instantaneous. There is usually a lag of a few minutes between it is sent and when I actually see it pop up.
I just had another thought. Maybe go to your buyer account and click on your icon, then click settings. You should then see an email tab and you can check there for anything that might be snagging it. It's unlikely, but worth checking I think.
I haven't gotten emails for sales or purchases for a long time now, even though I've followed Etsy's instructions to receive their emails.
The only Etsy email messages that seem to come through is an occasional email telling me that I have items coming up for renewal.

I’ve recently noticed that I am not receiving email notifications for new orders on my Etsy shop. I do receive all other emails from Etsy (such as marketing updates, messages, and delay notifications), but order confirmation emails are not coming through at all.
I have checked my spam/junk folder, ensured my email settings are correct, and confirmed that my email provider isn’t blocking Etsy emails. However, the issue persists. I have also seen that other Etsy sellers are facing a similar problem.
Has anyone else experienced this, and does anyone have a solution? Is there a way to ensure that order notifications are consistently received? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Been happening to me for years now - no help from etsy. I have the app on my phone - get notifications there. AND check my shops morning and night.
Had a ker-ching on my phone yesterday, looked but no email on the phone or the laptop. Then spotted the email in 'junk', which completely threw me as I thought it was a fake sale. Checked the shop which showed it was supposed to be a sale from a repeat buyer. Still not convinced, so looked for the 'help' option (which said it could take 3 days to answer that would be no use if it actually was a sale) so waited till today and have gone ahead and treated it as a sale. etsy don't make it easy do they.
@thewoollydog: "... and treated it as a sale ..." As long as the order shows up on your Orders & Shipping page and your Payments page you are okay. Fake notifications are one of the scams going around.
I haven't been experiencing this issue. Have you checked your notification settings to make sure email notifications are still enabled? Maybe you accidentally turned them off? You might also want to check your spam folder to see if the emails are being filtered there. Hope this helps!
