Waiting for Etsy to kindly give me my information

For my state, I need to report quarterly sales and use tax numbers (even if Etsy has taken over collecting and remitting them) which requires me to download all my sales data for the year.  Previously, this was a mildly annoying game of "where did Etsy hide this again-- oh right, under "Settings" and "Options"  for some unknowable reason.   But now, I see they have also decided to make it even more of a PIA to get this information with a "We're generating your download and will email you a link to it when it's ready." when I go to download my data.

So far, it's been nearing a hour waiting on that email.

I know Etsy *really* wants you to pay money to their partner services that frankly, I don't think many of us could afford even if they made sense to use this, but adding yet another barrier to getting information I need to run my shop is really pushing it.   I need submit all sales information to be in compliance with my state, even if Etsy has decided to take over the actual duties of the Sales and Use Tax, and this additional barrier and now added delay is making it so I might now be able to. 

Any ideas how to resolve this mess or even good ideas for workarounds?

When I generate a download, it almost immediately becomes available on the page, as well as gets emailed. (I just double-checked and yes, it still does this.) So wait there instead of waiting for email.

I've had it parked there the entire time and nothing changed.  It's just not generating.

Some sellers have had luck using chat & asking them to send the csv file manually to them.

When Etsy first started emailing that file, mine went into my junk mail because it came from a completely different Etsy email than before. So if you've checked junk mail & aren't getting the email, maybe try chat support if you're in a time crunch.

Mine arrived seconds after asking for it.  I did download now in the email and then selected the file to open in Excel.  This happened within seconds.

If you are still waiting perhaps something is wrong with your email.  Perhaps your providers is preventing it from arriving.

As my email is a gmail email, that would mean quite a large problem if Google is blocking Etsy email.   I check my spam folder all the time and nothing is there either.

@KineticColorFoundry  It should generate for you right away. Have you done this in the past and this time it's not working?  If Etsy is the only place you sell let me know and I'll give you further information.

All previous times it was directly downloaded, not this "we'll email you" thing.   It's just not generating at all.
