I’ve had my store fifiwedding since 2024, and everything was going smoothly until I encountered a problem on April 3rd, 2025. While trying to update my shop’s legal information for tax purposes, I was unable to save or verify the changes.
Before making any changes, I had heard of similar incidents, so to be on the safe side, I contacted Etsy support chat, asking them to confirm if there would be any issues. They assured me that everything was fine.
When I made the legal tax changes (changing from individual to business status), I received the message: "We were unable to verify the business information you entered."
Soon after, my store was accidentally put into vacation mode, without any explanation. I tried reaching out to support chat, but no one answered. Eventually, the chat support function was disabled for my store, again without any explanation.
We’ve worked honestly for a long time, but now we feel cheated by Etsy!!
Has anyone experienced this issue before? How can I get this resolved? I’ve been waiting for a solution for several days now, with no real progress. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there anyone who can help me? Or is there a contact for Etsy? I emailed the Etsy support team I had previously communicated with, but I haven’t received any response.
you need to raise 1 e-mail ticket on etsy
then go to that ticket from your shop manager, and add to it, that you still need help

It is probably something that does not match exactly - everything you enter on etsy, has to match exactly with the information held electronically by your state, and government, down to the last letter
If something is abbreviated in one place, it has to be abbreviated everywhere
I am currently unable to submit any support requests. Therefore, I found the email that Etsy support previously sent me in my inbox. I replied to that email and explained my situation, but I have not received any response yet. I am at a loss on how to proceed.
Go to your support requests, from your dashboard, you should be able to access the ones from there
there is no point replying to an e-mail, if that support request was closed
I went to my support requests and responded to the case again. However, I don't think I'll hear back in the next couple of days, especially with the weekend coming up. Etsy support might not respond until next week or even later. Is there any way to expedite the processing of my support request?
