is anyone else receiving ridiculous requests for personal detailed information ( harvesting ) from etsy? 

Stuck ' talking' to a bot saying nonsensical things about "push" whilst harvesting personal info'. Nothing happens, nothing is resolved ! 

I have traded and only have 5 star reviews. It seems Etsy do not want new traders. 

What are they playing at ? 

How can I complain directly to a real person at Etsy ?

@KestrelStore  - It sounds as if you are receiving spam messages or emails from folks who are out to Scam you.

Any legit messages you receive here from Etsy will be in the From Etsy 'in-box'. 

For any emails you receive, always come here to Etsy. While Etsy might send you an email about something, Etsy will also place a notice in your shop manager if you ever have to provide them any additional information. 
Don't click on any links in those emails or provide any info. thru that email.

The scammers send out very realistic looking messages & emails, so you need to on guard. 
If you use the seller's app be extra careful since it does not include the "from Etsy" inbox in messages. So consider using a browser when looking thru messages.
