Re: Stats not working properly

Etsy stats are rarely working properly.  Try refreshing the screen, setting a new time frame on the stats and then changing it back.  This usually clears it up but if stats are working properly, that is a cause for a forum thread.  But stats not working is not news.

Re: Stats not working properly

I am very tired of Etsy showing that I did not track an order when indeed I did. This often happens with USPS First Class mail that does include tracking. They've told me to wait several days past the day the item was delivered that it would change. The challenge with that is what happens when I send several first class close to the end of a month and they are not properly recorded? According to Etsy Help, they cannot retroactive it.  This is what we get with increased fees and better technology? I have been a star seller since day one and I'll be very ticked if I lose that claim thanks to Etsy's poor technology.

I will try that. The Etsy "help" people certainly didn't offer it as a suggestion.

Re: Stats not working properly

Currently my order on May 16 and shipped on May 16 with tracking number 9400 1036 9930 0033 6027 96 according to my Etsy order screen is "Pre transit".  The tracking number info indicates it was delivered May 19.  When I go to Star Seller, click on the order history for the shipping and tracking spreadsheet it shows there is no tracking number. Five days after it was delivered my percentage is still 98% instead of 100%.

Re: Stats not working properly

Yes I have a row of 100 in all boxes for today, and nothing at all for 7 days, this month etc! Usually it corrects if you take it back a step, but not today.

Re: Stats not working properly

The whole site is glitchy today, there's another thread . Some sellers are unable to edit , list or renew items myself included, plus the site is slow.

Re: Stats not working properly

I keep getting a red strip across the top of the stats page that says, "Sorry, the data for that timeframe is too large to load. Pick a smaller timeframe." Definitely glitchy.

Re: Stats not working properly

I am so ticked!  I checked this morning after having a couple of sales over the weekend. My tracking stood at 100%.  Now when I looked it shows my last three sales were not tracked and the percentage dropped to 94%. I after being a star seller every month, I am going to be really ticked if I "failed to qualify". I never had this issue until about three months ago. I took the survey about the changes to the program to see if it would allow comments.. Oh no.... I don't think dropping the number of sales to 5 is a good idea. Maybe 7 for a seller's first six months then up to ten. Half is too little. No incentive to do better. If a person wants to be a SS then they need to do the work.  Many of us certainly did well without this program. If Etsy can't figure out the software to accurately reflect seller's sales, tracking, message replying then they should stop aggravating us. I'm tired of having to write the help desk who tells me it will be 8 days before it's updated. Not acceptable!

Re: Stats not working properly

Since Star Seller is an aspirational program that celebrates the best in customer experience on Etsy, only some sellers are currently meeting the qualification criteria. The program does not penalize those who do not achieve Star Seller. If Star Seller isn’t attainable for you right now, don’t worry—there are many paths to success on Etsy. Although Star Sellers have an increased chance of being featured in buyer marketing, they aren’t the only sellers that we feature, leaving room for many other shops to continue to be in the spotlight.

Re: Stats not working properly

After having a perfect record of being a star seller, it is now ruined because Etsy claims my last three sales were not tracked. I have to notify them every single time this happens so they can "notify" the carrier and correct it. The carrier is the USPS. Since these sales were all made late in May they weren't corrected. I went back and checked them and I was showing 100% after the last time they had to have it corrected, then 2-3 days after the sales I fell to 94% then 91%. "Bri" informs me that if I was buying my shipping through Etsy this would not be a problem. So since I choose NOT to buy postage on Etsy so I can claim my $40 credit, I'm being punished. Is this the next wave of Etsy:  Everyone must buy Etsy postage, Everyone Must offer free shipping, Everyone must get on the Etsy Ads program?  If anyone out there can escalate it, it would be most appreciated. It is my understanding they cannot retro back my loss star status for June.  On another note: the changes to the star program. The survey they sent did not allow for comments. I comment would be new sellers should have a 7 sale threshold for six months to get them up to speed. Giving sellers the out to do only 5 doesn't give them an incentive to do more. When you water down the criteria, its a slap in the face to those who do meet expectations.
