Hi all, I have had a star seller streak ever since the program was implemented. My shop is PURELY digital, so shipping has never applied to my score, until this month when I got a notification that I didn't get Star Seller due to shipping, even though my reviews and messages are at 100%. I didn't change anything, and nothing is set as a "physical item". Does anyone know what would have caused this?
It's a glitch in the Star Seller coding.
Same here. It is a technical issue where a digital order changes to physical. Etsy is working on it. I had a star seller badge for six month and lost it. I contacted the customer and found she never got the download link and was not able to download from her account (physical!!!). I had to send her items via email. I chatted with customer support several times and they told me they are working on resolving it as quickly as possible.
I had the same happen last month and it fixed itself a day later. Hope yours does too.
Thanks everyone, that's good to know - I also have an order stuck in "new" but it's been that way since November and all items are marked as downloaded. Hopefully they can get it resolved.
Hi, it happened to me with one order. It was stuck in the "New" tab. Go to this order, the drop down menu from its right side and press "mark as shipped" or something like that and it will go to the "Completed orders" tab.

Hello, the same happened to me this month. I sell only digital, but because of a glitch this month with one order, did not received the badge because of shipping.
The worst thing is: I just got an email from etsy reminding me TO SHIP WITHIN MY STATED PROCESSING TIMES. I sell only digital files!
It's happening with my digital shop, too. A similar thing occurred earlier this year for me, though. After messaging Etsy multiple times about it, they said they could see the error, it was some type of glitch, and they were working to fix it. The fix ended up being for me to wait three months without Star Seller Status until the glitch made its way out of the three month time frame. They kept telling me they couldn't manually change my Star Seller Status even though they admitted it was calculated incorrectly. I'm hoping since this seems to affect a lot of us, it gets taken more seriously.
