My star seller score is being calculated unfairly. I have shipped all orders on time except for one. I always provide tracking numbers, as it won’t even let me complete the order without a tracking number. I use USPS priority mail for every order. So how then does Etsy say that I’m missing tracking info and lower my score to 84% this review period???? This is infuriating. I have always earned star seller and haven’t done anything different this review period but when I get on the chat feature; there is nothing they say they can do to help correct the issue.
help please!
Have you looked at the CSV to see which one they say is missing tracking?
Did you check to make sure there wasn't a typo in the tracking #?
Etsy has said they will not manually "correct" anything having to do with star seller.
@CreatedPrintCo: Have you checked the applicable CSV file on your Star Seller page to confirm which order(s) Etsy thinks was shipped late and / or without verifiable tracking?
What happens if you click on the tracking number link on the actual order? If it opens the tracking page and shows the scan history then you have proof that the tracking information was entered correctly. In that case you should pursue it - while Etsy will not manually adjust Star Seller stats they can, in some cases, fix the underlying data and then the Star Seller stats will auto update (but not retroactively).
Does the actual order show as at least "in transit"? Has the package been scanned? Sometimes a tracking number cannot be validated until after the first scan is publicly available. If the shipping company is supported by Etsy make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order.
