I am selling in the UK and it looks like all my stats are high enough for star seller status. I had 6 completed orders totalling over £200, 3 5 star reviews and speedy replies to messages. Do I need to have a month where I’m meeting standards first? It’s only my second month selling on Etsy

What was the date of your first sale? You're first not eligible until it's the next first of the month after it's been 90 days from your first sale.
For example, if your first sale was February 15th - then 90 days is (approx) May 15th, which would make June the first time you are eligible, since that's the next 1st of the month after it's been 90 days.
I don't know what the conversion or number is in the UK, but for the US it's 5 sales and $300 in the proceeding 3 months. £200 may not be enough to qualify.

Ahh that makes sense. My first sale was the 23rd of March, thanks!
Ok, so just so you're not anxiously awaiting it, remember that the first time you can qualify will be the July badge.
@SimonArcherWoodcraft: Star Seller is calculated and awarded only on the 1st of each month, and on that day it must have been more than 90 days since your first sale, then you need to have met the order quantity and volume requirements during the preceding three month period, and only then are the other metrics considered.
Same here - month after month, but no Star Seller badge.
