Star Star Shipping Percent

My star seller shipping percent hasn’t changed after shipping out multiple orders. I shipped out 3 orders last week with Etsy tracking labels and the percent hasn’t changed in a week. Last month the same thing happened, I shipped out multiple orders in July and the shipping percent stayed the same. I’m shipping priority or the new ground shipping as I learned the hard way that buying the flat envelope labels thru Etsy doesn’t count towards the shipping and regardless with the priority and ground shipping it’s still not updating. Is anyone else experiencing this issue and how do I get Etsy to fix it?

@ShellyRioBoutique: Have you checked the applicable CSV file from your Star Seller page? If the orders have been marked complete, sometimes orders are not counted for Star Seller until after the scheduled ship by date regardless of when you actually shipped.

I always ship out before the schedules ship date and have never had an issue until July. It has always updated within 24 hours on my star seller. It seems since the $300 minimum threshold was removed for the sales in star seller is when it started happening.

The flat does apply or at least it did in teh past for star seller.

Chck your CSV.  If Etsy is showing that it is not accepting the tracking numbers then there could be a few reasons.

Shipping before the last day of processing?  If you ship the last day of processing and don't get to teh post office in time for them to scan that day then it is not considered on time by Etsy.

Are you taking the items to the clerk and getting a receipt?  I use the kiosk and always get the receipt which gives my items the first scan.  If you don't have the kiosk take your items to the clerk and have her give you a receipt.

If you are dropping them in the bin, make sure your post office scans that day.  Some post offices collect but then they don't scan that day but much later in the day closer to midnight which means you run the risk it will be scanned after midnight.

If you are leaving them for the carrier to pick up , are you using the scan sheet if the carrier is picking up more than one or two packages.

If the post office is not scanning then complain to the supervisor.  Post offices are required to scan all packages that come in to the post office but some post offices don't always comply.  If your post office won't, complain to USPS or find a new post office.

The label, are you changing the date to the day you actually ship?  If you buy a label say today Aug 15 but plan to take to the USPS on the 16th then you meed to make sure to change the label to that date.  USPS requires us to send items having that days date and not a previous date or post date.  It has to be the date of shipping.  The days of being able to ship early the next day if something happend the day before to prevent posting are gone.    Etsy also uses this information.  If your label says the 15th but you take it to the post office on the 16th and it gets a scan, it is still late as it should have been shipped on the 15th.

Luckily my post office is 2 blocks away and I bring all my packages in myself and either scan them myself at the kiosk and get a receipt if the line is too long or I have the workers scan it getting receipts from them too.
