On 22/11 and there were apparently problems with the transfer of the tracking numbers. I have not changed anything. Everything worked perfectly before and after. I ship with a DHL business customer account via the Billbee app in Germany. That means everything runs automatically. As I have not made any changes, it can only be a technical error. Eight shipments have now been entered without tracking. I can no longer add the tracking numbers. However, they are still there. All consignments have already arrived and have been rated positively.
Just for your information:
It is possible to add a parcel to the order and enter the missing tracking number there. Even if the process has been completed. This number will then be included in the statistics. I got this information from the chat with Etsy support.
You have to select the shipper, and enter the tracking number, before the ship by date,
If you are using a third party app, that says they do this for you, it's their app that has the problem, you need to contact them, it is not an esty problem.
Etsy does not do the link with third parties, or take any responsibility, as there are no etsy labels in Germany.
If the Billbee app you use is not working properly, you have to do it yourself, until they fix it.
Etsy won't change anything

You based this assertion on the fact "Etsy has seller protection."
From Etsy's House Rules:
Sellers are responsible for packaging and shipping their sold items to buyers. If you're using a shipping or fulfillment service, please keep in mind that you are ultimately responsible for making sure that your buyers receive their orders.
Where is it written that Sellers are NOT held responsible for actual deliveries and the shippers are responsible for that? Please provide the link.

Adding DHL or POSTNL in our dashboards already has issues as it has a habit changing itself after you add the tracking information, so it is always good to double check your orders within 24hrs from adding the tracking information and to make sure they have not changed. (from a browser not app)
If you have used this third party app for much longer than these 8 orders, then it is most likely an issue with the app which Etsy will not be able to fix or be responsible for as Craftycornishmaids mentioned.
I looked up Billbee, they currently have problems syncing with etsy ... it says inventory, but it might affect other stuff
You need to log a call with Billbee, who you are paying to update etsy

@JanineSommerArt: While we can sympathize with your situation, undoubtedly Etsy's position will be that it is your responsibility to make sure that any integration you use works correctly, particularly since you have 72 hours from the time the order is marked as complete to correct any errors in the tracking information.
Long before Star Seller was even thought of, we got into the habit of spending a few minutes daily checking the previous day's shipments to make sure that they were at least "in transit" so if something was wrong we could fix it within the 72 hour window we are allotted.

Yes, I have changed it and yes it has changed the Star Seller percentages back to 100% percent. That was all I wanted to know. How can I add the shipment numbers if there was a technical problem that was not my fault? And there is this possibility, even if it was a long time ago.
Incidentally, it was not Billbee's fault, this error message only affected the item stock. It was due to a transmission error. This can always happen, even with Etsy. And yes, I check whether my orders have arrived and everything is running correctly. But it's not always possible for me during the Christmas period. I also have an online shop and a retailer shop. Sometimes I just don't have time and then it's too late, as in this case.
