Finally got my ratings score up to 4.8 after the 5 star review I received a few days ago. Just checked and it's now back down to 4.7 (it was 4.8 as of this morning). There has been zero changes to my reviews. Anyone else?
Same thing with mine. For some reason, the January stats just dropped off all the formulas as of today. So my stats now all reflect what they were as of 1 January, and do not include any January data. I hope Etsy fixes this! I need this month's data to stay a Star Seller, as I've been since inception. Very discouraging that Etsy can't control and/or manage their software better.
Maybe ETSY plans to include all the January data at month-end, before they calculate the star seller status. It's an easier algorithm. If that's the case, some forewarning would be appreciated.
I’m hoping you can help me out with something. When I check the customer service stats and select the "current period," then click through the orders tab to download the file, it always seems to show data for the previous period.
To be honest, I don’t look at the current period stats often, so I don’t have much experience with it. But I’ve never seen any downloadable data specifically for the "current period." Is there something I’m missing? Or is it that the current period data only becomes available at the end of the month?
Would love to hear your thoughts!
Oh, and the stats I downloaded from current period included Oct, Nov and Dec.
@GroundZeroCreations I am not sure when this began, but recently I have not been able to download a CSV for SSP from the "Current Review Period" page. The only CSVs available are those for "Past Review Period" (Oct -Dec)
I may be wrong, but I am sure we could see the "Current Review Period" CSVs mid month. In fact, I clearly recall using these to check that "Shipped on Time" records were updating correctly, particularly prior to the last week of the Month as any issues needing rectification could be addressed before they impacted the performance metrics.
We have always seen 'current period' csv files available for download (at least using a browser) all month long and they were always up-to-date. Today's 'current period' files are missing ALL 2025 new message threads and orders respectively.
@GroundZeroCreations: If using a browser, for 'current period' you have to click on the appropriate card and the download link is in the popup.
@CarpetCollectionAU If you go to Customer Service Stats, click Current Review Period, and then click the purple text (Star seller target) that appears in each of the boxes, there will be a link on the popup on the right side of the page to download stats. One would think those stats would be for the current period but it appears as if it is the previous period.
However, I think my issue is different because, whilst I used to get the CSV Link by clicking on the SSP Target in the respective box, today it is missing in all 5 Shops. Perhaps this is just temporary or the result of some action by the Tech Team to rectify other issues?
That’s funny as I also noticed that! I have had star seller for ages and didn’t notice that it had dropped off this month till the other day. I had me bad review which Etsy support actually agreed to get rid of because it contravened the guidelines, but I feel as if even though they removed it, somehow it was counted. I’m nearly back to the star seller range and it didn’t affect sales anyway, so I was trying to ignore it.,,

Or say, "my January reviews are no longer being counted" for Star Seller and Customer Service stats. Tell them to look at your shop & count the last 3 months of reviews, then show them a screenshot of your dashboard.
Wow, that’s so weird! Well I can’t really test it. My last review was December 28. I wish more people would leave reviews but I’m definitely not going to bug them to. I got quite a few holiday orders and almost no reviews. I guess no news is good news...
Just wanted to give an update: I spoke to Etsy Help Center and they acknowledged there was an issue with my stats. They said they would look into it and after an hour or so I just hit refresh on my page and all the stats are now good again.
So, if you're still experiencing issues with yours then maybe reach out to them as well
@LumaLightCo Thanks fore the update. I just checked my Shops and the SSP CSVs are available again (even these disappeared for me for hours today) and the "Current Review Period" now shows the January data.
Yes @NeedleGnome and @CarpetCollectionAU it got sorted eventually. It was not calculating the January reviews and Etsy Tech did fix it so it was calculating on the right total number of reviews.
