I received an order late on the Friday before Memorial Day. I offer next business day shipping. I could not ship until the following Tuesday, which I did. Etsy dinged me as not shipping on time. The post office was not open on Monday. How do I change that?
In the future, either extend your turnaround time prior to holidays, or if the order is already been placed, extend the ship-by date to 1 day past the holiday. This prevents you from being dinged.
you cannot change it now. You should have pushed out your delivery date before items were sold. Etsy is an international company. They do not automatically use USA holidays.
They also dinged me for not replying to a message within 24 hours. I did reply with a thumbs up. It was the end of a conversation from a customer who said thank you. I replied with a thumbs up. This is ridiculous.
