Star Seller Status Remove Over Mistake with Creating Custom Digital Download Orders via Private Chat

I lost my "Etsy Star Seller" status today because of "on-time shipping & tracking" and we do not ship or have tracking for our shop because we have all digital downloadable files. According to Etsy's downloadable csv file they provide to give you context both orders under the section "shipped on time" said "no". I am a digital design shop. We do not sell physical products and we do not have anything to do with shipping, tracking. etc. After speaking with Etsy Chat support, they made me realize that creating a custom digital download order via "Etsy private chat" is not possible. That the orders I submitted were all "Physical Items" even though they are custom designed seamless files for digital download. Had I known this would have affected my Star Seller status I would have never tried to create a custom digital download order via the private chat. 

Etsy's support chat response was that it was not a "technical issue on their side" and nothing can be done except to post here. 

Is there anyone who knows if this can be reversed over an honest mistake of being a newer seller on Etsy?

I have the two orders from last month which triggered this, and I just had another today for April before realizing the Star Seller Status was no longer on. I can't put tracking into these existing orders because there is no physical product to send. The Digital Download was already sent. Any help or possible way to get this fixed would be greatly appreciated.

Etsy won't change anything. They tell you to post here, but they still won't do anything.

This help article https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115015663107-How-to-Offer-Custom-Items-and-Reserved-Listings...  does state:

"Private listings can not be created for digital items. If you want to offer a custom digital item, consider setting up made-to-order digital listings in your shop."

But if you don't know that, why would you know to look for the help article.

There's no way to get it fixed, but now you know going forward not to use it if you want SS.

You can set up digital files.........
as instant downloads,
or physical items, if you e-mail them.

I have both in my shop.

For the physical, e-mailed items,

I just mark them as complete when I e-mail them

I choose "other" and put "EMailed"

You can do this without getting dinged because you’re located in the UK and your item costs less than £10. In this case there’s no tracking required at all.

OP is located in the US, therefore all physical orders require tracking.
