Star Seller Message Response rate incorrect

I am working toward my Star Seller badge for March 1st. I did some searching on the forums about how often the stats update and I found that it is supposed to be 24 hours.

However, for my Message Response rate stat, I am sitting at  80% with 4 messages total with 1 miss. The issue is I have had 3 messages that I responded to in the last couple of days that were within the 24-hour mark but are not showing on the stats at all. I even downloaded the stat history and the last message was from January 27th and it is now February 8th. If the stat update cadence is correct I should see the 3 new message responses that happened this month (2+ days ago).

Can someone help?

You said you did not reply to one message. It takes response to 19 messages to overcome the one you did not reply to.

The one you missed - was it a "spam" message? And as @NanaLetha said, it will take that many to make up for the one.

To answer this, now that I look at it I ordered something from another shop and they sent a follow-up message to me thanking me for a 5-star review and that is what I didn't reply to. So maybe I need to report that as well.

@919Knots try marking it as spam and see what happens... Etsy has (sometimes) in the past allowed that spam to be accounted for retroactively and it may reverse that non-response.

It may or may not work, but it's worth a shot!

I understand I have to overcome that but the stats are not considering the 3 in the last couple of days at all in the stats.

Yeah ... it says updates are approximately 24 hours. The key word is 'approximately'. I've seen updates take several days.

@919Knots: "... I have had 3 messages that I responded to in the last couple of days ..." Keep in mind that the Star Seller metric is NOT all new messages but only the first message of all new incoming threads.
