A buyer and I agreed to a later shipping date than what was originally listed for the item. I reached out to Etsy help asking how to remedy this issue since it would affect my star seller badge. They suggested I cancel the purchase and have the buyer purchase again. I did so, but my account is still showing that I didn't meet the shipping requirements for the month, but now I did. How do I get this reviewed?
Did you both refund and cancel?
If the order went past due and then you cancelled it, there is nothing you can do.
The Star Seller program is automatically run by bots. It works within the parameters Etsy has set.
Etsy staff can not, and will not, change the metrics.
Next time, if a customer wants it shipped after the due date, move the ship by date out to when they want it shipped BEFORE it goes past due.
If you can't push that date out far enough, cancel the order and tell them to reorder closer to the date.
