Star Seller Eligibility Question

Hey Etsy friends! I apologize if my misunderstanding is a common/simple one, here’s the situation:

We created our Etsy shop 10 years ago however only listed products/made our first sale in December.

We have a 4.9 for avg review rating and 100% for shipping and messaging and 0 cases.

We interpreted the star seller requirements in that December would have counted as our first eligible month however we did not receive star seller on March 1 as we thought we would.

Is this because December was not counted towards our 3 months since we started DURING December?

We’re so excited with how things have been going but are curious why we didn’t receive star seller yet?

You have to meet the $300 minimum in sales during Dec, Jan and Feb.

We did meet that but it appears the issue is that we need the entire month of December to count which we started mid month. Fingers crossed for another successful month. Thanks for offering your insight and time to help us figure this out. Best wishes!

If you started IN December (say, December 2nd), you still would not have reached the 3 month requirement.
