I have been trying since yesterday to update my listing from etsy to square. I uninstalled and reinstalled with no joy. Anyone have any tips? I have an in-person next week and want to be able to keep my inventory accurate.
Same here! It took Eysy days to respond and when they did the suggestions only wasted a huge chunk of time with no remedy. Clearly it’s a server issue on Etsy’s end; so, no matter what I do, it’s not going to sync until Etsy fixes the disconnect. Their server is not communicating with Square.
I have the same problem. I have been trying to sync my listings since March 28. I went through all the steps on the Etsy page with no luck. I spent an hour on the phone with Square and they say it must be an Etsy problem. This is not the 1st time for this problem -- it has been ongoing for more than a year now. If you are able to find out anything, please let me know. I will do the same.
Hi, I do a few Local Show in the Fall. I have never synched Etsy with Square (I keep them separate). I will Deactivate any items which I take to the Shows. If they don't sell there, I will Reactivate them when I come home that night.
I know you are asking about synching the two, but it looks like there are too many problems.

I finally resorted to doing this also. But then when you reactivate the listings you have to pay the listing fee again.

@LittleLuxuriesLLC Yes, but only if the item sells (pay the listing fee again). If the item does not sell, when you come home and Reactivate it, you do not get charged the listing fee. The clock still ticks for the listing duration (I think it's 3 months). So you can Deactivate and Reactivate a listing during that time as many times as you want, and you won't have to pay the listing fee.
I had a show today and had this problem. I tried for hours yesterday and today with no luck. Square said everything was good on their end so it has to be Etsy! I'm glad I'm not the only one! It also nuked more than half my inventory on my Square iPad app... extremely frustrating. Especially with 0 IT help.
