Hello,
This morning I'm not able to sync Etsy with square. It doesn't give me wrong message, it just keeps on "spinning the wheel" with no result.
I've tried different browsers and devices and I've never had a problem before.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I'm also experiencing this issue and have a market tomorrow. I'm really hoping it gets resolved. I've disconnected my shop and reconnected and it still doesn't work.

same. it has actually been since yesterday afternoon for me. I tried everything, even unlinking and then relinking my square account and nothing works. I checked and square is NOT down, so it has to be one of the newest changes from Etsy that is affecting it
I've never synced Square with Etsy. I did 4 days (two weekends) of local shows recently. I Deactivated any items which I took to the shows. Those which didn't sell, I brought back and Reactivated them. This could be an alternative for you if you keep getting the spinning wheel.
Thank you. Yes I can still work with the situation at the market ( by deactivating every item) but I really hope it gets fixed.
I tried etsy chat but it was not helpful. They told me basically to do what you already did anyway.
Etsy chat had me try to the usual stuff and then said I should contact Square.
did you contact square by any chance?
to me they said in the past that it’s Etsy’s problem.
I did not contact Square. It's always been an Etsy issue in the past. I'm now waiting to see if it gets sorted sometime today.

Thank you. Well this is the beginning of serious market time for most shops until Christmas, so I hope they realize the urgency of the matter.
I’m so glad to hear it’s not just me! I can’t find where to send Etsy support a msg to vice my complaint. I have 2 big events this weekend and this is creating so much stress!!

This is what I did:
In help.etsy.com you choose the topic ( I searched square ) and pick an article they suggested. At the bottom you will find “did this help?” And I clicked no
and under it “I tried the steps and didn’t work”
then on the bottom it asks “still have a question?” . I clicked Contact support
Still waiting to be contacted though hahaha!
I am having the same problem and have a craft fair tomorrow. I spent 40 minutes troubleshoot with Square Tech Support and it is not on their end. I've tried signing out of Etsy and signing back in, switching browsers, using a mobile phone and a laptop, and nothing has worked.
Last weekend I ran the synch and only a portion of my items were transferred. I've been trying all dat to get the synch to work and it won't connect. I have markets every weekend between now and December, this is going to be a huge issue for me.
I got mine to finally synch this afternoon, but I'm seeing duplicate items. I'm not sure which ones to use, I've reset and closed out the app, then restarted it. They are still there.
I'm having the same trouble, and I have a craft show tomorrow, too. So upsetting. I initially looked at that the Seller's Handbook on how to sync, thinking I was doing something wrong. The language of the help article doesn't match the labels available in the new Etsy app. Again, very upsetting.
Since I feel like etsy is not taking this problem seriously enough I decide to check the fees that Etsy gets from square payments.
It looks like they get 20 cent per sale of item that is NOT synced with etsy. So that means that if we leave our square linked to etsy tomorrow during the markets, even though the listing are not synced, we’ll still give money to etsy for every sale????

Same issue. I REALLY Wish that etsy had an actual number to be able to call and speak with a person. Chat and e-mail is ridiculous for a company this big.
