Why can't I get help from Etsy

I have no direct contact from etsy when I ask an important question. 

I received a message from Etsy and now I don't know if I gave away my debit card details.

What did the message you received say?  Was it in the ''from Etsy'' folder?

What you received could possibly be one of the scam messages currently making the rounds.  Did it say there was a problem with your account that needs to be addressed or else your shop will be suspended?  Or maybe it was the ''I need your email address because there's a problem with ordering'' scam.

If you gave them your full debit card details, contact your bank asap.

Yes, sounds like a SCAM. If it's not in the "from etsy" folder, it was BOGUS and a FAKE.

Contact your bank or credit card company immediately and report fraud.

All real messages from etsy will be in the "from etsy" folder. If they ever need ID or financial information from you, there will be a notice on your dashboard. They do not communicate via message or email.
